Unanimously elected as Regional Representative for Asia Region of Executive Committee of Commonwealth Parliamentary Association at Trinidad and Tobago in September 1999 3. Elected as Vice Chairman of Executive Committee of Commonwealth Parliamentary Association (CPA) in September 2001 in Australia by defeating Chairman of Senate of Malaysia Parliament 4. Nominated as Regional Representative from India Region in the Executive Committee of Commonwealth Parliamentary Association, London (U.K), (2014-16). 5. Nominated as member of the Executive Committee of the CPA India Region from 15.08.2014 to 14.08.2017.
