It’s the first FCS opponent faced by UNM since the 2012 opener when UNM beat Southern 66-17. That was the Radio (English) Lobo Radio Network first game at UNM for Bob Davie. For Mississippi Valley State, whose most famous football alums are Hall of (770 KKOB-AM flagship in Albuquerque) Famers Jerry Rice, Willie Totten and Deacon Jones, the Delta Devils are coming off a 2-9 season in 2014.
