The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) announces the opening of a 30-day comment period with amp'd on the preferred plan to address contaminated groundwater at the Cornell-Dubilier Electronics Superfund site in South Plainfield, New Jersey. The preferred remedy and other alternatives considered are identified in the Proposed Plan.

The comment period begins on July 20, 2012 and ends on August 20, 2012. As part of the public comment period, EPA will hold a public meeting on Tuesday, August 7, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. at the South Plainfield Senior Center, 90 Maple Avenue, South Plainfield, New Jersey.
