Later played for Wolves and Dundee before rejoining Anorthosis in 2002 as player-coach. • Hugely successful stint at Anorthosis peaked in 2008 when his team won the Cypriot title without losing a game and then became the first club from the island to compete in the UEFA Champions League group stage after eliminating Greek giants Olympiacos. • Quit Anorthosis to become Olympiacos coach in summer 2009 but lasted only a few weeks and, two months later, was appointed to replace Héctor Cúper as coach of Georgia, for whom he scored 17 goals in 51 internationals. Adam Nawałka Date of birth: 23 October 1957 Nationality: Polish Playing career: Wisła Kraków, PAAC Eagles Coaching career: GKS Świt Krzeszowice, Wisła Kraków (three times), Zagłębie Lubin, MKS Sandecja Nowy Sącz, Jagiellonia Białystok, GKS Katowice, Górnik Zabrze, Poland • Nawałka, part of Poland's squad at the 1978 FIFA World Cup, spent most of his playing days in the Wisła midfield before ending his career in the late 1980s in Chicago. • Having qualified as a coach, he took charge of Krzeszowice in 1996 before returning to Wisła two years later to head their youth set-up. He twice had spells at the senior helm, winning the 2001 Polish League Cup. • After several adventures in the dugouts of clubs in Poland's top two divisions, culminating in a 2006–07 return to Wisła, Nawałka had a short stint as assistant to national coach Leo Beenhakker, aiding their UEFA EURO 2008 qualification. • Soon back in club coaching with Katowice, at the start of 2010 Nawałka switched to Górnik and within six months had guided them to promotion. • With Górnik top of the Polish First Division in October 2013, Nawałka agreed to take the Poland job, beginning the following month. 6 Georgia - Poland Friday 14 November 2014 - 18.00CET (21.00 local time) Match press kit Boris Paichadze National Stadium, Tbilisi Match officials Referee Paolo Tagliavento (ITA) Assistant referees Lorenzo Manganelli (ITA) , Mauro Tonolini (ITA) Additional assistant referees Luca Banti (ITA) , Antonio Damato (ITA) Fourth official Alessandro Costanzo (ITA) UEFA Delegate Metin Kazancioglu (TUR) UEFA Referee observer Vladimir Antonov (MDA) Referee UEFA EURO Name Date of birth UEFA matches matches Paolo Tagliavento 19/09/1972 4 61 Paolo Tagliavento Referee since: 1990 First division: 2004 FIFA badge: 2007 Tournaments: 2011 UEFA European Under-21 Championship, 2007 UEFA Regions' Cup Finals 2011 UEFA European Under-21 Championship 2007 UEFA Regions' Cup UEFA European Championship matches featuring the two countries involved in this match Stage Date Competition Home Away Result Venue reached 26/03/2011 EURO QR Georgia Croatia 1-0 Tbilisi Other matches involving teams from either of the two countries involved in this match Stage Date Competition Home Away Result Venue reached Aveiro Regional Football Stara 24/06/2007 RCUP GS-FT Dolnośląski ZPN 1-1 Association Zagora Yugoiztochen 26/06/2007 RCUP Final Dolnośląski ZPN 1-2 Sliven Region 30/07/2008 UCL 2QR Beitar Jerusalem FC Wisła Kraków 2-1 Jerusalem 27/07/2010 UCL 3QR AC Sparta Praha KKS Lech Poznań 1-0 Prague 26/03/2011 EURO QR Georgia Croatia 1-0 Tbilisi 23/08/2012 UEL PO WKS Śląsk Wrocław Hannover 96 3-5 Wroclaw 7 Georgia - Poland Friday
