The authors of Papers are alone responsible for the statements and opinions in their several communications. The thanks of the Society are due to Mr. Crossley for the loan of many of the blocks illustrating his article on the Monuments; and similarly to Mr. Beazley and Mr. Mathews for the blocks illustrating their essays. Fr. Blundell has contributed to the cost of the Chalice blocks. It should have been acknowledged in last volume that Mr. Beazley supplied the numerous blocks of arms which illustrated his account of Thurstaston therein. The present volume has been prepared for the press by J. BROWNBILL, M.A., Honorary Editor. ERRATUM. In vol. Ixxv, p. 183, Holwood should read Horvvood. XIV. N.B.
