OKLAHOMA Grand Bank, Tulsa, Sells Grove Branch to Arvest Grand Bank of Tulsa has sold its original Grove Branch to Arvest Bank for an undisclosed price. This move completes the repositioning of Grand Bank to focus on Tulsa, Claremore, and Bixby. For Fayetteville, AR-based Arvest, which had assets of $9.3 billion at June 30, the branch at 310 S. Broadway in Grove augments the 5,000-square-foot branch Arvest opened six months ago at 1818 S. Main St. . Arvest market president Steve Duff said the 10-employee branch will add about $35 million in deposits and $18 million in loans. Pending regulatory issues, officials expect to complete the sale late this year or in early 2008. Grand Bank started in 1975 as Grand Lake Bank. The Robin Buerge family of southwest Missouri acquired the bank in 1982. The bank bought Peoples State Bank in Claremore in 1996 to form its first branch. The bank moved its headquarters to Tulsa in 1998.
