All rooms have LCD/DVD televisions with free view, tea/coffee making facilities, hairdryers and trouser press. The hotel also has a swimming pool and Jaccuzzi. The hotel is adjacent to Carlisle Cathedral, opposite the award winning Lanes Shopping Centre, and the Castle is within walking distance. There is a lift but some side corridor rooms are accessed by a flight of stairs. After a not too early morning pick up on Saturday, travel to Houghton Hall Garden Centre for a coffee/lunch stop then on to the hotel. On New Years Eve a half day excursion to Moffatt.
