Welcome to the 11th season of Elite Clubs National League! I want to thank you for being a part of this journey, for being a part of the nation’s premier development platform for youth soccer, and for helping us continue to Raise the Game for players of all ages across the United States.
Since our founding in 2009, it has been our mission to provide our players, coaches and member clubs with the highest quality of competition, education and development, opportunity, and experience. With your support, and with your unique perspective and voice informing every decision we make, the ECNL will continue to improve the quality of the game, and the quality of the player experience, every day.
Our 11th year will feature 96 teams in the ECNL at every age group competing for multiple championships and honors, on what should be an exceptional and memorable personal and team journey. Beyond the quest to qualify for the Champions League, the North American Cup, and the Showcase Cup competitions that we have traditionally operated, we are excited to be adding a new Open Cup division at the ECNL Playoffs this year, and to be launching the ECNL Regional Leagues across the country to deepen the league’s impact in the American game. We are also excited to be expanding the ECNL Composite Division and Playoffs this year after a fantastic experience in 2019.
The 2019-2020 post-season will be the deepest and most comprehensive in league history, and the 2019-2020 season will see more players than ever impacted by our league and its programs.
As a member club, you are the heart of the ECNL. Thank you for your commitment to making our league so unique and impactful. As an ECNL coach, you are the biggest and most important impact on the ECNL athlete. Thank you for your work in helping them achieve their dreams. As we prepare to watch over 4,000 ECNL alums compete for colleges in every state and at every level from Division 1 to NAIA this year, we can only imagine where the journey of today’s ECNL athlete may lead.
