They monitor the Kindergarten: playground and hallways. The monitors wear a safety vest for Tuesday/Friday Class attends 9-1:15PM identification purposes. These students are a great asset to our school Monday/Thursday Class – No School and we appreciate their assistance. We are collecting the following foods: canned fruits & vegetables, stuffing mixes, gravy mixes, instant mashed potatoes, soups and peanut butter. Any pantry item, toiletry, or paper goods are appreciated. MEALTIME ONLINE Meal Account Deposits, enables you to make prepay deposits and payments on balances for your student’s school lunch account, conveniently, safely and securely. You can also view your student’s account activity, including onsite payments, online payments, current balance and a detailed history of meal and food item purchases. ☺Deposits can be made with any Discover, VISA, or MasterCard credit or debit card. ☺Credit card processing is completed through a secure authorization process. MealTime Online does not retain or store Credit Card information and will never share your information with a third party. ☺Online payments are processed immediately and will be reflected in the student’s cafeteria account automatically, according to the district’s scheduled transfer process. ☺All student data that is transmitted is encrypted and authenticated every time you use the website. ☺You can associate multiple students, from multiple schools, with one parent profille. BOX TOPS FOR EDUCATION Our Box Top collection is going strong. Mrs. Updike’s class is well in the lead with 862. Mrs. Beatty’s class is in second and moving ahead of several classes. Mrs. Williams class has sped into 3 rd place with 325. It is neck and neck with the following classrooms, Mrs. Otten, Baeder, Harris, and Ballard. Collect those tops and turn them in to the collection area in each classroom. Collection so far has raised over $125. Thank you to Mrs. Pappas for collecting and counting each week. WEATHER In the event that it is necessary to close schools or delay opening because of weather conditions or other unusual circumstances, the following radio stations will be notified; KAFE-FM 104.1; KGMI-AM 790; KISM-FM 92.9; KIXT-AM 930; KPUG-AM 1170; KARI-AM 550; KWPZ-FM 106.5. TV stations KOMO Channel 4, KING Channel 5, and KIRO Channel 7 will also broadcast the most updated information. A decision will be made and conveyed to these stations no later than 6:30am. A message will also be posted on the district website at meridian.wednet.edu Buses will operate on the normal routes except in dangerous conditions. Parents should make alternate plans for their children in case of an emergency closure or early dismissal. When appropriate, the school should be notified in writing of such arrangements. Parents must make the final determination about whether their child will attend school during such weather events. In the event of a delayed opening, pre-school classes and Wednesday morning kindergarten will be canceled. IRPS P.E. CLASSES ALL-STAR BASEBALL GAME WINNERS – MR. DEPERALTA AND MRS. WILLIAMS’ CLASSES Mrs. Arnold would like to congratulate the winning classrooms for this first trimester. Two classes tied for the win!!! So many children have been remembering to wear their tennis shoes every P.E. day that it made for quite a race to the finish! ACCESS STUDENT GRADES ONLINE Skyward Family Access will provide families with re al-time access to grades, attendance, and more. Each household was sent a letter with their login and password. IRPS families can also find their passwords on their home to school folder. Be sure to disable your pop up blocker in order to log in to Skyward. We encourage you to check out this fantastic way of staying connected to the classroom. Contact the school office if have any questions.
