I came out strong, pushed hard, and it was important to have that good first experience in the heats to move onto the semis. Honestly, I had to do the job, and secure a place in the semi final - I will have to give it my all later, just like in the National Championships - because we will have the semis and the final in the same day. Personally, it is not easy to control - it's allmost all or nothing. My strategus is to focus on resistence so I can recover towards the finish. It requires more technical work, so I can reach the perfomance I wanted - that's it really. In the semi final, I need to come out more confident. I just recovered from injury, so I've been retracting myself a bit in the competition. It was a really tough race, so I went straight to sleep, as soon as I arrived back at the hotel. During the European Championships, there isn't really much we can do - all the hard work is done in advance. I'm extremely proud of myself and of what I achieved, also my coacha nd those who support me. Breaking my PB in both events I took part in during these European Championships, that means my job is done. Anything that comes after that is even better, and to have two portuguese sprinters in the semi finals is an advantage.
