Welcome to our first quarterly newsletter, others will follow in April, July and October. We have been busy making plans for 2020 and have an exciting year in store for you. Enjoy reading about what we have on and come along and join us if you are interested.

FACEBOOK We have now set up our own facebook page which can be found by typing Heritage Forum into the search box on facebook. 'Follow us' to get reminders of when our talks are taking place and what events we have coming up.

WEBSITE Our website continues to go from strength to strength, with our numbers of followers growing steadily. It is updated regularly and contains all of the information needed to know what is going on and what events we have coming up.

For our February talk our Chairman, and Brynmawr resident, Eifion Lloyd Davies will provide an interesting insight into some unexpected buildings tucked away in Brynmawr.

TRIP - TUESDAY 2nd JUNE Senghenydd Mining Memorial and Garden and Llancaiach Fawr Manor we will soon have the link set up so that If you are interested in joining us on this trip you can buy your ticket online, In the meantime, please drop us a quick line to let us know you might be interested....it just helps to give us an idea of numbers. We estimate that the price will be about £15, with the cost of your midday meal (be it a snack, or a something more substantial) added on as an extra that you pay for individually. The coach will be coming from so there will be a few pick up stops between there and Tredegar. .We will continue to add updates and information on our website

. HERITAGE DAY - TRANSPORT The theme for our Heritage Day this year is Transport and it will take place on either October 17th or 24th. We are just waiting for other Societies to let us know their dates for Events so that we don't clash. The event will take place in Ty Ebbw Fach, .
