Your presence matters a great deal to each and every one of these athletes. It affirms the importance of this endeavor to which they have given so much time and effort. High school interscholastic programs are so important to all of us, especially during these challenging times. These contests offer a source of reasonable, accessible, and healthy entertainment for all members of our communities. They also provide a large portion of the foundation upon which all of our students and Dr. David Larson Dr. Peter Monaghan Joe Kain staff build positive school identity, climate, and spirit. Superintendent Principal Assistant Principal for Athletics/ Tournament Manager This event will showcase the very best in high school boys volleyball. The student athletes we will watch are not only talented on the court but also continue to excel in the classroom. They have a healthy and mature respect for competition and their opponent. They understand how to accept responsibility for what they do or fail to do. They welcome challenge because they know that by facing challenge they grow. They learn that winning is not determined by a final score but by defining and fulfilling their potential. Thank you to all of the coaches who help instill these attitudes on a daily basis. We ask for your help as well in reinforcing these important lessons. Our students look to all of us to set standards of sportsmanship and integrity. Mrs. Mary Vitulli: Principal Mrs. Mary Vitulli was raised in New York, but has made Illinois her home for over 30 years. Mrs. Vitulli is a graduate of Colgate University where she received her B.A. in History and Secondary Education. She went on to attend SUNY of Cortland as an elementary education major and more recently the American School of Education where she received a Masters in Leadership and Administration. Mrs. Vitulli has had a diverse career in education, coming to St. Patrick School most recently from St. James School in Highwood where she was a teacher, assistant principal and principal for over 20 years. Mrs. Vitulli is married with three grown children and two beautiful grandchildren. Mrs. Becki Chorazy: Assistant Principal and Middle School ELA Mrs. Chorazy began teaching in 1999 after graduating from Monmouth College with degrees in Elementary Education and Special Education. She got her Master’s Degree in Educational Administration from Concordia University in 2016. Her career thus far has spanned a wide range of ages and grades and has included several years working as an assistant principal.
