Order Number: 03-04-20-10 UNITED STATES DEPARTMENT OF AGRICULTURE U.S. FOREST SERVICE COCONINO NATIONAL FOREST RED ROCK RANGER DISTRICT PROHIBITION: Pursuant to 16 U.S.C. § 551, and 36 C.F.R. § 261.50(a) and (b), the following acts are prohibited in the areas, and on the roads, and trails described in this Order and depicted on the attached Maps, hereby incorporated into this Order as Exhibits A, B, C, D, and E, within the Red Rock Ranger District, Coconino National Forest, in Coconino County and Yavapai County, Arizona. 1. Entering or using a developed recreation site or portion thereof. 36 C.F.R. § 261.58(b) 2. Being on a trail. 36 C.F.R. § 261.55(a) 3. Being on the road. 36 C.F.R. § 261.54(e) DEFINITIONS: “Developed recreation site” means an area which has been improved or developed for recreation, as defined in 36 C.F.R. § 261.2. EXEMPTIONS: Pursuant to 36 C.F.R. § 261.50(e), the following persons are exempt from this Order: 1. Persons with a written Forest Service authorization specifically exempting them from the effect of this Order. 2. Any Federal, State or Local Officer or member of an organized rescue firefighting force in the performance of an official duty. RESTRICTED AREAS, ROADS, AND TRAILS: The National Forest System trails, roads, and developed recreation sites, all of which are within the Red Rock Ranger District of the Coconino National Forest, as shown on the maps in Exhibits A-E, are subject to this Order: National Forest System Trails: Devil’s Bridge Trail, National Forest System Trail (NFST) #120 Devil’s Bridge Extension Trail, NFST #196A Order Number: 03-04-20-10 Cathedral Rock Trail, NFST #170 West Fork Trail, NFST #108 Chuckwagon Trail, NFST #196 is closed east of Boyton Pass Road and east of Long Canyon Road for 5.2 miles.
