In this batch of contempt petitions, the grievance of the petitioners is that the orders passed by this Tribunal in the respective OAs were not implemented. The direction was about the consideration of the cases of the petitioners for promotion to the post of Inspector, in the Income Tax Department.
2. Today, learned counsel for the respondents has placed before us, a copy of the proceedings dated 16.01.2020 through which, promotions were made, and the applicants were also extended the benefit.
3. In that view of the matter, these contempt cases are closed.
