With attractions such as Cloud Forest, Dragonfly & Kingfisher Lakes, and Supertree Grove, Gardens by the Bay opens free for outdoor gardens from 2 a.m. to 5 a.m. daily, and there are chargeable admissions (SGD 8–28) DURATION: About 5 hours Day 3 A The day begins with a tour along [1] Chinatown, and an hour-long visit at [2] Baba House, before a farewell lunch. Baba House is a traditional pre-war terrace-house that offers Peranakan heritage tours on Mondays 2 p.m., Tuesdays 6.30 p.m. and Thursdays 10 a.m. Visits are by appointment only: [email protected] Should the visiting schedule not permit the Baba House tour, the visitors may visit Clarke Quay, or opt for DAY 3B (details on next page) instead. DURATION: About 3 hours Day 3B Half a day can be spent exploring [1] Sentosa Island, before a farewell lunch. Sentosa is spread over 500 hectares, and boasts an exciting array of themed attractions (including Universal Studios Singapore), rainforests and sandy beaches. An inaugural partnership between the NHB Academy and SI, the workshops, beginning November 2011, seek to equip local museum professionals with the knowledge of international best practices as well as core skills in the areas of curation, exhibition management, collections management, and conservation.     Post-Museum (2007, Singapore) Biography Post-Museum is an independent cultural and social space in Singapore which aims to encourage and support a thinking and pro-active community. It is an open platform for examining contemporary life, promoting the arts and connecting people. In addition to their events and projects, they also curate, research and collaborate with a network of social actors and cultural workers. For Bukit Brown Index (2014-) is an ongoing project which indexes the case of Bukit Brown Cemetery. The struggle to conserve Bukit Brown is not read as a sentimental conservation but a struggle over Singapore’s Soul. Part of a worldwide movement, part social experiment, Post-Musem’s Really Really Free Market (2009-) form a temporary ‘free’ market zone based on alternative gift economy. The project creates a temporal physical manifestation of a micro-utopia where the fundamental economic structure is altered with a structured that value acts of ‘giving, sharing and caring heart’. Currently operating nomadically, they continue to organise and host various events and activities in different spaces.
