Israel Tour Sample itinerary Chapel Jensen Beach June 2021 Day 1 Depart US and fly to Ben Gurion Airport, Tel Aviv.

International flights usually arrive the following day

Land in Ben Gurion Airport, Tel Aviv at 7am. You will be met and greeted by a representative of Lipkin Tours who will welcome Day 2 you to Israel and introduce you to your tour guide and driver. We begin with a visit to the ruins of , which was home to the government of the Roman Governor, Pontius Pilate. After lunch we continue to Mt. Carmel where the Prophet Elijah defeated the Priests of Baal (1 Kings 18:17-40). We head to our hotel for check in and rest.

Our first day of touring will begin at The next stop of the day will be to Village a reconstructed Jewish village replicating Day 3 the village that grew to manhood. Just south of Nazareth in the cliffs of Mt Kedumim we will visit Mount Precipice, the traditional site of the cliff that Jesus ran away from after his bold proclamation in the Nazareth synagogue (Luke 4:16-30). We con- tinue to Megiddo, where the Messiah will return to earth and defeat the Antichrist (the "beast") in the battle of Armageddon.

***Sample itinerary - Subject to change*** We will begin our day at Tel Dan, described in the bible as the northernmost city of Israel. Our next stop will be the Banias, a source Day 4 of the Jordan River, and the site of where the Apostle Peter made his great confession of faith in Jesus as the Christ, the Son of God (Matth. 16:13-17). Following this we will drive up to Mt. Bental in the Golan Heights and lookout to the "Road to Damascus". We will then travel to Katzrin, known as the "capital of the Golan heights” we will then visit Mt Beatitudes before ending the day at the Yardenit, where we will experience a group baptism by our Pastor. Today we will start with a visit to which in Jesus' time was a flourishing border town. We continue with a tour of the Day 5 Boat Museum in Kibbutz Ginosar where a 2,000-year-old boat from Jesus’ time is exhibited. We will visit Magdala, a newly discovered Jewish city where a synagogue was discovered and it is assumed that Jesus preached in that Synagogue. It is assumed that this is where Mary Magdalene was from. We will then enjoying a relaxing boat ride on The , a place rich in memories of the three years of Jesus' ministry was around its shores, before heading south. On our drive through the Jordan Valley we will stop by Argaman and learn about a mysterious Israelite footprint structure that was found there. Overnight at Hotel

This morning we will tour the ancient fortress of Masada where King Herod built one of his castles and where the first Jewish- Day 6 Roman war ended in a mass suicide. We will then travel to the cave of Qumran, a national heritage site, and the location where the Dead Sea Scrolls were discovered. Next up is an exciting camel ride through the desert mountains before heading into Jerusalem. On our way into the city we will make a stop at Mt. Scopus, where you will have a chance to stand and overlook Jerusalem.

***Sample itinerary - Subject to change*** Today we will be touring Samaria. Our first stop of the day will be Bethel to visit the site of Jacob's Dream Of The Ladder. From Day 7 there we will proceed to Ancient Shiloh, the site where the Tabernacle stood for 369 years, and what was once the center of Jew- ish life. We will then hear Nati Rom speak to the group outside at picnic benches at the tail end of the tour at Shiloh . From there we will make our way to Mount Ebal to visit Joshua's to learn about the mountains of blessings and curses. Overnight in Jerusalem hotel

Today we will visit Yad Vashem the Holocaust Memorial Museum in Jerusalem. We will then continue on the Arugot Farms over- Day 8 looking breathtaking views of the Dead Sea and the awe inspiring cliffs of the Arugot valley. The Farms provide illuminating context to the history, holiness, and glory of for anyone seeking to connect to the destiny of Israel in the deepest way imaginable. We will then point out from the Shepards Fields before returning to Jerusalem. Overnight in Jerusalem hotel

After breakfast we start our pilgrimage in Jerusalem with a drive to the top of the Mt. of Olives, from which Jesus ascended to Day 9 Heaven after his resurrection. Our next stop of the day will be the Garden of Gethsamane which is at the foot of the Mt. of Olives. We will then make our way to the City of David located between the Mt. of Olives and the of Jerusalem. Our next stop of the day will be Mt. Zion where we will visit the site of the Last Supper and the Upper Room. We will visit Machane Yehuda, the bustling Jerusalem market.

***Sample itinerary - Subject to change*** We will be traveling south to Hebron, city of the Patriarchs and first capital of King David. Tour the ancient Jewish neighborhoods Day 10 and the Machpela cave. We will go from there to Susiya an ancient Jewish village from 4th – 9th Century where today you can visit the olive press, archeology, ancient tunnels and more, giving you a chance to really explore ancient biblical life. Following that, we will travel to Kfar Etzion, where we will see a multimedia light and sound show about the history Gush Etzion. Our last stop of the day will be a walk along the Path of the Patriarchs, where we will see ancient ritual paths and be able to see Jerusalem.

Your last day in Israel will begin in the Jewish Quarter of the Old City of Jerusalem. We will tour the Western Wall Tunnels, Day 11 unveiling the large original stones of the times. We will view from the Western Wall and then walk through Jerusalem from the to the Jaffa Gate. Our last site of the tour will be Garden Tomb. We will enjoy a farewell lunch before the Jordan Extension Group transfer to the Allenby border crossing. The rest of the group will have time for shopping and dinner before transferring to the airport to the return flight to US.
