5. Patient Satisfaction survey: amended document discussed at length. Stuart to amend some details for agreeing final draft at next meeting.
In surgery, survey should have PPG members on site to assist before and after appointments.
Suggestion that survey be available online. Nic, IT manager, agreed that this is possible.
Author: Judy Page 2 of 3 Edit Date Feb 20, 18, 2:22 PM Members are asked not to bring personal issues to the meeting. If you do have a personal issue please contact the Practice Manager. NB the PPG forum for our CCG has asked that these three extra questions be added to the Friends and Family form:
a)What works well at your practice?
b) What would you like to see improved at your practice?
c) Who did you see at your GP practice? was this the most appropriate person for you to see?
Does this make our questionnaire irrelevant/unnecessary?
6. Meetings for General Public/Patients
Event at Martham Carnival to be organised, encouraging people to take responsibility for their own health and promoting wellbeing and community involvement, particularly for the frail, lonely and elderly. Relevant organisations to be invited to take part. Action: Jacquie Southern, Lindsay Seward
Further events could be organised in village halls or community centres
7. Discuss Work Plan for 2018
See updated work plan.
8. Issues raised: 1) Impact of housing development on GP services: always under review. 1600 new patients needed to trigger employment of additional GP. Extra sessions can be purchased. 2) home visits for very sick patients who cannot leave their beds. Explanation that facilities available in surgery assist treatment. Info re Home Visit policy/process to be displayed on PPG boards. 3) concern re lack of appointments during bank holiday periods. 7 day working, to be implemented in October could help this
9. Date and Time and Venue for next meetings in 2018:-
Monday 9th April 6 to 8pm
Monday 9th July 6 to 8pm
Tuesday 9th October 1 to 3pm
Please note all the meeting will be held at Martham Surgery
