The rail corridor runs from 90 Avenue, east of Hwy MM in Town of Osceola to the Apple River in the City of Amery, where it connects with the existing Cattail Trail. The legal description is attached as Appendix 1. PROJECT SUMMARY 1. Brief overview of the proposal including the DNR action (include cost and funding source if public funds involved) The Department of Natural Resources proposes to extend the Cattail State Trail in Polk County with a new 13.48 mile long section between the City of Amery to the Town of Osceola, about 1 ½ miles southeast of the Village of Dresser.
