SAS Championship and TaylorMade Team Up Equipment Demos and Discounted Tickets Available to Triangle Area Residents

Cary, N.C. – Saturday, August 27, the SAS Championship presented by Forbes and TaylorMade are heading to Tee to Green driving range in Apex, NC, for the 1st Annual SAS Championship Demo Day. The event is open to the public from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.

SAS Championship Demo Day will give area golfers the opportunity to test the latest technology in golf equipment from TaylorMade, as well as purchase ticket packages for the 5th Annual SAS Championship at a 50% discount.

TaylorMade representatives will be on-site to help golfers find the perfect fit for their game. Demo equipment will include TaylorMade Rescue Duals featuring removable TaylorMade Launch Control (TLC) Ports to promote different trajectories for better accuracy, and the CGB line of putters featuring Anti-skid Groove System Inserts (AGSI) which are engineered to reduce backspin and promote forwardspin.

SAS Championship One-Day Tickets and Weekly Grounds Badges will be sold at a 50% discount to Demo Day participants. One-Day Tickets, valid for one day of admission, will be sold for $10 versus the regular retail price of $20. Weekly Grounds Badges, which are good for 7 days of Tournament admission, will be sold for $20 versus the regular retail price of $40.

All participants at Demo Day on August 27 may enter to win two (2) SAS Championship Birdies’ Nest Hospitality Tickets, valid for 17th Green Birdies’ Nest access on Saturday, October 1 and Sunday, October 2. Complimentary food and beverage will be provided in this greenside open- air structure at the SAS Championship, perfect for a bird’s eye view of the action on 17.

The SAS Championship will take place September 26 – October 2 at Prestonwood Country Club in Cary. The Tournament is celebrating its 5th Anniversary this fall.
