The exercise of preparing this document has given the Board further insight into the complexity of growing amateur sport. The 2007 plan was successfully completed in full. We have continued to deploy development officers in key growth areas and as a new initiative, we have provided grants to Affiliates to employ their own development staff. This has proved very popular. We have had satisfactory growth this year although better outcomes would have been more pleasing.
