Rainer, originally from Germany started playing football at the age of 4. He played for clubs and German youth development teams until the age of 16. Whilst Rainer was in Germany he played for the Cologne Football Academy. During his time in the German National Service Rainer played and coached a German Air Force football team. In 2004 Rainer moved to England and started coaching youth football teams. Rainer has locally coached Corringham Athletic, Corringham Cosmos and Tilbury FC, he has also coached various age groups for local schools and football acad - emies.
