INFORMATION HOTLINE - 228-5232

In an effort to communicate more effectively with residents, the district utilizes the Blackboard Connect System (Connect Ed), as well as an information hotline. These provide up-to-date information regarding field trips, the impact of weather on school activities, scheduled school and districtwide events, and commonly used telephone extensions needed to reach various district personnel. The hotline will be updated with current information by district personnel. Information such as school activities will be changed weekly. Information on inclement weather or particular field trip information may change during the day. The hotline is designed to provide information on changes in the normal school schedule. It is NOT designed to communicate that school is open and all activities will take place as planned. To access the hotline, dial (516) 228-5232 from a touch-tone telephone. The hotline will take you through a menu of topics. Telephone extensions are provided throughout the menu to help you find the information you desire. Among these extensions is a Community Incident mailbox which includes updates on police activity in the community. To access the Community Incident Hotline, dial 228-5232, then dial mailbox # 8171.
