He will also assist with game day and scouting and with the daily operations of the program and all preparation for the 2005 season. “I am very excited to have Chris join us,” Brecht said. “Being a former goalie and captain here at Siena, Chris has a good knowledge of the school as well as the goalie position and will be a great asset to helping us build a first class Division I program.” During the 1994 season, Landers was awarded the Most Improved Player award, and two seasons later he served as the Saints captain and completed his career by claiming the Most Valuable Player award in 1996. A native of Stewart Manor, N.Y., Landers currently resides in Saratoga with his wife Sarah, who also is a 1996 Siena alumnus.
