My interests lie broadly in the evolution of the Earth-life system and how ecosystems and their component taxa evolve and respond to changes in the physical environment. Specific areas of interest include biotic and climatic change during the Paleogene (~65-24 million years ago); use of geochemical data, particularly stable isotopes, derived from accretionary biogenic materials for inference
