APPENDIX 1 Existing Planning Policies and Statutory Designations 1. This Appendix sets out the various plans and policies applying within the Local Plan area, which will continue to be operated as the policy of the Local Planning Authority alongside the adopted Local Plan. The Appendix also includes details of other relevant non-statutory documents and statutory designations applying within the Plan area. 2. For information on these plans or policies, or advice on forward planning matters generally, contact the Forward Planning Team of the City Council Planning Department (Telephone Winchester 848177). Plans/Policies Continuing to Apply Statutory The following statutory plans and policies will continue to apply within the Local Plan area and are available from either the County Planning Officer, Hampshire County Council, The Castle, Winchester (HCC) or the Chief Planning Officer, Winchester City Council, Avalon House, Chesil Street, Winchester (WCC). However, the main stock is held at the offices of the Council responsible for the plan concerned, and intending purchasers are asked to apply to the Council listed for the document.
