It's no wonder that this great celebration is known as "The Best Little Fair in Canada". From the midway to the rodeo, musical shows to antique shopping, the Clydesdale Horse Show to the antique tractor parade, there's something for everyone at the Carp Fair. I have fond memories of bringing friends and family to the Carp Fair for a day of fall fun, and I know the event would not be possible without the support of dedicated volunteers, board members, and sponsors. The Carp Fair is an outstanding example of what we can accomplish when we work together for our community. Here's to many more years of celebrating agricultural excellence with good food, friends, and family at the 156th annual Carp Fair. The important efforts made by our exhibitors and 4H clubs showcases all areas of the departments that comprise our prize book. These competitions draw a variety of representation from local and regional communities in skills, talents and time-honoured traditions. We host a broad range of agricultural shows: beef, dairy, sheep, goat, pig shows as well as our Light Horse and Heavy Horse. Our midway and amusements area provide fun and excitement for families and "kids" of all ages. Our Rodeo and Demolition Derby are great new attractions for the whole family. Food trucks and vendors provide a variety of menu choice with classic "fair" food as well as unique tasting items. Our weekend evening entertainment venues continues to showcase top-notch entertainers. We look forward to the Carp Fair all year long! Our theme this year, "Connected to the Community, Committed to the people", was intended to increase our connections with our sponsors, local organizations and people within them. We value their involvement and contributions to the ongoing success of this amazing event. As presidents of the 156th Carp Fair, we'd like to acknowledge your participation in our fair. We'd like to extend deep appreciation to all of our board members, exhibitors, sponsors, volunteers and patrons who all contribute so much to making this the "Best Little Fair in Canada".
