Many homes were destroyed and many businesses are forced to rebuild everything. This devastating event affected many civilians causing four people to die. This tornado destroyed many properties leaving people to rebuild their houses. Another property that was damaged is Thomas Jefferson High School . Students have not been able to return since school is in ruins. Many think missing school is fun, but they have not been able to return which probably means that these students will be sent to another high school which could lead to overcrowding. Thomas Jefferson High School is just one of the many Texas schools closed including elementary schools, middle schools, and daycares. These students will not be able to return to school for an extended amount of time. Many companies such as the Home Depot shown above have been destroyed or closed for an extended amount of time. In Arkansas four people were killed by the twister and in McKinney, Plano, and a few other Dallas suburbs were hit by storms. This storm has left heavy damage to everyone. One way to prepare is to build more durable buildings and houses in North Texas. Oddly, most of the recent storms that have hit there have seemed to come in early to mid October, except for a few occasions when they have come in May or April. In general, these tornadoes come when Dallas is changing seasons into fall or summer. Most of these seem to follow the same path were they slant downwards towards the south and are coming from the north. The people in this area need help you can help by donating food, clothes, and money to those who are in need. You can also help by volunteering to support areas in need.
