The title marked the franchise's third regular-season division championship in franchise history, winning Team W-L PCT GB Today the South Division in 2004 and the Western Division in 2010. This year, the Curve led the West for 96 of 140 games Altoona 74-66 .529 -- @ BOW and took over solo possession of the top spot for good on August 22. Keller faced the Baysox once, picking up a loss after surrendering a Double-A-high four earned runs over 5.2 innings with four hits, one walk and seven strikeouts on August 27 in his next-to-last start of 2017 E.L. EASTERN STANDINGS the year. He was promoted to Double-A on August 4 after going 6-3 with a 3.14 ERA over 15 starts with A-Adv. Team W-L PCT GB Today Bradenton, where he was picked as a Florida State League All-Star. Between Altoona and Bradenton, Keller posted a 3.03 ERA this season in 23 starts, seventh-best in the Pirates' system, and he ranked fourth in the system with 116 Trenton 92-48 .657 -- @ BIN strikeouts. Keller has made two postseason starts in his career, both coming last season with Bradenton. He pitched Binghamton 85-54 .612 6.5 v. E.L. EASTERN DIVISION SERIES FOR BOWIE: Right-hander David Hess starts game one for the Baysox. He made 26 starts and one relief appearance Date Time/Result Series for the Baysox this season. He made four starts against the Curve this year, going 2-1 with a 2.13 ERA (6 ER/25.1 IP). 9/6 TRN @ BIN 6:35 p.m. Hess is in his third year with the Baysox, joining the team late in 2015. He pitched for Bowie in the 2015 postseason, making a start in Bowie's game-four clincher against the Curve in the Division Series with seven scoreless, one-hit in- 9/7 TRN @ BIN 6:35 p.m. nings. He also picked up a win in game four of the 2015 Championship Series with Bowie facing elimination, working 9/8 BIN @ TRN 7 p.m. seven innings and allowing one run on three hits with eight strikeouts.
