PSSA Riverina Cross Country Thursday the 11th of June, Gabby Fairman, Bella Fairman, Riley Judd, Harrison Judd, Will O’Hare, Louise O’Hare, Zac Dart and Laura Harper travelled to Gundagai and competed in the PSSA Cross Country. They all did their best and had a good day out. Well done to the students for competing and parents for taking their children to Gundagai.

Northern Jets Junior Netball Results - Round 8 Under 11’s U11’s came away from today’s match with at 13 all draw against GGGM. The teams were incredibly well matched to the point where they had almost identical attempts of goal. Mae Lucas was awarded Best on Court today with a wonderful display of speed and agility. The team voted Emma Morris Players Player for her determination and perseverance to win the Delta Towel Award. The Canteen award went to Paige Brown who showed her usual outstanding dedication to the game. Other stand-out players were Izzy Gaynor who is proving herself invaluable in any position, Annabelle Cassidy who is extraordinary in defence, Bella Fairman who continues to give 200% and always trying to improve her game, Madison Cassidy & Charlotte Brill working well on the wing and improving each week, and Louise O’Hare for being a team player and putting her team first. A wonderful team effort. Thanks to Suzanne Lucas for umpiring.

Under 13’s The Under 13’s went down 19-23. They were down by 9 going into the last quarter and came out firing but were beaten by the buzzer. Lily Walker had a great game in goals earning her the Bowling Club $10 award, Hayley Buerckner had a fantastic game at both ends of the court getting the players player canteen award and Josie Gaynor played her heart out in the centre court and some awesome passing into the ring earning her the Landmark Towel Award. Thank you so much Sue Flagg for umpiring.

Under 15’s Very proud today of the 15’s netball side. What a great display of maturity, skill & sportsmanship. The way they played this very physical game is a credit to all of them. Came away with a 47 to 26 win over . Wishing that every player could have been given an award. Award winners – Jessica Durham won the Delta Towel Award for a great defensive game. Shelby Worland won the Bowling Club $10 with an outstanding game at WD. Nancy French won the Elders Canteen Award with an excellent game at GA with an 82.5% shooting accuracy. Chloe Minchin won the socks for a consistent effort. Excellent game in centre by Keisha McLean whilst taking some very hard, continuous knocks and kept her cool. Great shooting and assisting by Ellie Walker. Good game at WA by Laura Maslin and Emily Buerckner who is improving with every game. The composure that this team showed is a huge credit to each and every one of them. Loved this game of netball, you are all an inspiration.

Representative Netball Congratulations to Louise O'Hare, Paige Brown, Josie Gaynor, Olivia Harper, Nancy French and Keisha McLean for a very successful day of netball representing the South West Junior League, against the Wagga District League at on Saturday.

Louise and Paige played in the Under 11 side in a thrilling game that went into extra time. Louise coped well under pressure as Goal Shooter, and the team came away with a 23-20 win.

Nancy and Keisha played another nail-biter of a game in the Under 14 side that played hard and fair until the last minute, to win by one goal. Nancy shot well in Goal Attack. Keisha was explosive through centre court and was awarded the Best on Court medallion for the side. Congratulations to all the girls.

Northern Jets Junior Football Report Round 8 – 14th June On Sunday the Jets hosted Ganmain at Ardlethan, and our U15s team travelled to Temora. Thank you to everyone who helped make a gorgeous day for football run so smoothly.

Under 11’s Report What another great win for the boys, a great team effort by all 21 players. The Elders home game towel was won by Tommy O’Dwyer who had a wonderful game at full forward and kicked 2 goals. The Landmark $10 Award was won by Charlie McCormack who rucked well and played great in the forward line, booting 6 majors. The Sportsma Warehouse Voucher went to Harrison Judd who performed well at centre half forward. Alex Ingram had a great day up forward with 2 goals to win the Ardlethan Pharmacy socks. Other players to kick goals were Zac Dart with 2 and Harry Collis and Riley Judd one each. Two other players named in the best were Harry Roscarel and Jack Hawthorne. Good job boys. Final score Jets 14 - 13 - 97 def GGGM 1 - 0 - 6

Under 13’s Report Another hard fought battle defensive game with all our boys playing their hearts out. Two Ganmain players dominated the game to have a big impact if not for them we would have had a more even contest and maybe have even come away with a win. Again a big thanks to the U11s who came up to help us we say it every week but without you guys we wouldn’t have a side. The best players were Tom Roscarel who won the Ardlethan Service Centre home game towel. Harry Morris won the Geoff Fairman coaches award, Riley Walker the $10 Ariah Park Hardware award. Fraser Harper received the Hotel socks and Nate Doyle the Sportsmans Warehouse Voucher. Well done to Riley Judd a sole goal kicker for the day and Ben Grinter had a solid game as well. It was great to see Josh Roscarel back after a long spell to injury and he had a great first game back, lets train hard this week boys to get ready for Griffith. Final Score GGGM 6 - 11 - 47 def Jets 1 - 9 - 15

Under 15’s Report The boys were beaten on the day, but our boys had a red hot dip. We never gave up and attacked the ball all day. Our best players were again hard to separate with Lindsay Brown winning the Jason Bryce Spreading $10 award. Joe Ryall had another superb game with many attacking possessions through the half forward flank to win the Elders socks. The main Northern Jets, Ardlethan Service Centre towel award went to Lachlan Jones who kicked and marked all day and never stopped trying. Tom Lawrence and Will Roberts did some great physical contesting in the forward line to win the footballs donated by the Northern Jet senior club. New players in Jesse Hartwig and Blake Haddrill were an inspiration in their attack on the football and their relentless tackling. Sam Quade tried hard at fullback as did Zach Griffin and Mitch Doyle who were extremely busy repelling many attacking raids. Ben Carmichael was extremely impressive in the forward line and kicked Play The Game

2 goals. Other goal scorers were Blake Harper 2, Tom Lawrence and Hamish Gaynor one each. Special praise must go to every player who gave their all, right up to the final siren.
