As the Curve did on Thursday, the Sea Dogs jumped out to a 7-0 lead after scor- ing twice in the first and five in the third. Agrazal's seven runs surrendered and 10 hits allowed were each season-high's for 2018 E.L. WESTERN STANDINGS an Altoona starter this season. Altoona answered Portland's five-run third with four runs of their own that included RBIs from Team W-L PCT GB Today rehabbing Pirate Josh Harrison, Jason Martin, Jordan George and Will Craig. Portland reliever Teddy Stankiewicz tossed 6.1 innings in relief with seven strikeouts and received the win for his efforts. The Curve stranded four of their seven total runners Akron 23-18 .561 -- @ HFD left-on-base at third base on Friday night. In his last outing, Shawaryn allowed seven innings over five innings on Monday at Reading and took the loss. From 2008-2017, the Curve averaged 35 homers per year at home. Home Openings .......................................... 21 KELLEY HEATING UP: Over his last 16 games since April 22, Christian Kelley is hitting .380 (19/50) with three homers, Average Attendance ............................3,604 three doubles, seven runs scored and 11 RBIs, raising his batting average from .162 to .284. He has also set a new career high with three home runs this season. Kelley is ranked by Baseball America as the "Best Defensive Catcher" in the Pirates organization and is second in the Eastern League with 13 base-stealing attempts thrown out this season. J-MART: OutfielderJason Martin was named the Eastern League Player of the Week for May 7-13 after hitting .552 BROADCAST INFORMATION (12/23) with two homers, a double, eight RBIs, seven runs scored, two walks and a stolen base. He became the first Curve player to pick up one of the league's weekly awards this season. Martin currently leads the Pirates' organization and ranks third in the Eastern League with a .369 batting average. He is also tied for first among Pirates minor leaguers with five homers and ranks fifth in the league with a .623 slugging percentage. Over his last 14 games since May 2, Martin is hitting .418 (23/55) with four homers, two doubles, one triple, 13 runs scored, 13 RBIs and four walks.
