This handsome son of EVASIVE is out of PINDROP, and thus comes from an excellent family that has produced black type winners for generations; such as STOTSFOLD, POPPY CAREW, LEPORELLO, CALYPSO GRANT, MARZELLINE and DEVIOUS BOY. This family is globally known for its very smart winners in Europe, North America and Japan.

This colt is a half-brother to LANGHOLM, a winner in England in 2021 and still in training, as well as to the promising LA MICHABEL, a juvenile filly in training with Niels Petersen.

EVASIVE was a high class performer from a top notch family. Related to champions like Kingmambo, Miesque, East Of The Moon and Miesque's Son, he won 2 of his 6 races before injury stopped his career. Evasive captured the Horris Hill Stakes (G3) as a juvenile, making him one of the winter favourites for the 2,000 Guineas Stakes (G1). After an interrupted preparation, he ran sixth in the Newmarket classic, beaten just 4 ½ lengths by the outstanding champion Sea The Stars.

Evasive went for the St. James's Palace Stakes (G1) at Royal Ascot next, and stepped up with a fine fourth place finish behind multiple Group 1 winner Mastercraftsman, Delegator and Lord Shanakill. He was 3 ½ lengths behind Mastercraftsman. Evasive's subsequent sixth in the Hungerford Stakes (G2) was to be his last racecourse appearance. He was trained by Sir Michael Stoute and Saeed bin Suroor.
