Resident Events Easter Egg Hunt for Families of Children with Special Needs Sunday, April 1st 1:00 - 3:00 p.m. Sahuarita-Green Valley Family Support Group, in conjunction with Rancho Sahuarita, invites all families with special needs children to a free Easter egg hunt at Club Rancho Sahuarita. Please remember to bring your Easter baskets and your camera. The egg hunt begins promptly at 1:00 pm. The gathering will also include a visit from the Easter Bunny!

Autism Awareness Day for Families of Children with Special Needs Monday, April 2nd 5:30 - 7:00 p.m. World Autism Awareness Day seeks to raise awareness of the autism spectrum disorders and improve the lives of those currently living with autism. Teen Indoor Movie and Ice Cream Social Friday, April 6th 6:00 - 9:00 p.m. Teens, come out to enjoy an Indoor Movie with an Ice Cream Bar at this special event! There is a $5 entry fee at the door, but no ActiveNet registration is required. This event will begin with an ice cream social and the movie will begin at 7:00 p.m. Ice cream and beverages will be available throughout the evening. *This event is open to residents and their guests only. If a resident chooses to bring a guest, the guest must be checked in by a resident that is 18 years of age or older.

Saguaro Club Explore AZ: Tucson Symphony Orchestra Friday, April 6th 4:30 - 9:00 p.m. Saguaro Club members are invited to the Tucson Symphony Orchestra’s biggest show of the season. Saguaro Club members will take a charter bus to enjoy dinner, followed by the performance of Beethoven’s 9th. The charter bus will leave the Club Rancho Sa- huarita at 4:30 p.m. and will return approximately at 9:00 p.m. Saguaro Club Members will be responsible for their own food and drinks. A fee and registration are required, and space is limited.

Community Yard Sale Saturday, April 7th 7:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. Clean out the closets and gather your unwanted items for our Spring Community Yard Sale. Rancho Sahuarita will put out the welcome mat to hundreds of bargain shoppers and participation is easy! Simply come by Club Rancho Sahuarita and register to be part of this great community event. Maps showing all the participating sales will be distributed at Club Rancho Sahuarita to shop- pers beginning at 6:45 a.m. on Saturday, April 7th. Signs will also be placed throughout the community.

The Sunday Addition Sunday, April 8th Begins at 2:00 p.m. Stop by every second Sunday starting at 2:00 p.m. for some extra family fun. Activities will vary from month to month. No registra- tion is required. *While supplies last.

This activity is perfect for children 3 years of age and older and their parents. No registration is required for this free event.

Bingo Madness Tuesday, April 10th & 24th 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Try your luck at a night of Bingo every 2nd and 4th Tuesday by buying a card or multiple cards with the chance to win great prizes. Space is limited and entry will be based on a first-come, first-served basis. The cost is three cards for $5.00 or $2.00 per card (multiple games will be offered each evening). *Must be at least 18 years old to be present.

Movies Under the Stars Friday, April 13th Gates Open at 7:00 p.m. | Movie Begins at 8:00 p.m. Our “Movies Under the Stars” series kicks off and continues into the summer with great hits your family will love. Films begin at 8:00 p.m. with the event area opening at 7:00 p.m. Complimentary popcorn will be provided, and no fee or registration is required.

Coffee Socials Friday, April 13th & 27th 8:00 - 9:30 a.m. This resident favorite is held every other Friday and is free to our residents. The morning includes complimentary coffee, donuts and bagels, along with a few healthier options. No registration is necessary.

Healthy Living Cooking Demo Series Saturday, April 14th Begins at 10:00 a.m. Join our staff nutritionist, Sarah Marrs, as she features a series of different lectures and cooking demonstrations focusing on how to live healthier lifestyles. Check ActiveNet for details on this month’s topic!

Smoothie Sunday Sunday, April 15th 9:00 – 10:00 a.m. Stop by every third Sunday of the month for a refreshing smoothie. Three different smoothie flavors will be offered. This event is free to residents and no registration is required.

Rancho Sahuarita Development Update Meeting Wednesday, April 18th 6:00 p.m. Each month in this meeting we will discuss new and ongoing development projects within Rancho Sahuarita. These meetings are a great way to stay up-to-date and engaged in your community. Join us and see all the exciting new things happening right here in your backyard!

Toddler Camp Thursday, April 19th Begins at 10:30 a.m. Children 2 to 4 years of age, along with their parent, can attend an hour-long camp featuring arts, crafts, stories, dancing, singing and more! No registration is required and the camp is free.

American Red Cross Blood Drive Saturday, April 21st 10:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. Give the gift of life by donating at one of our many Blood Drives held throughout the year. Town of Sahuarita BizEdge Kickoff Event Thursday, April 5th 5:00 - 6:00 p.m. Club Rancho Sahuarita Small businesses in Sahuarita and Green Valley will get a chance to learn how to improve and grow, and win $4,000 in the town’s sec- ond annual Energize, Develop, Grow, Excel (EDGE) Competition. A kickoff meeting will take place on Thursday, April 5, from 5-6 p.m. at the Rancho Sahuarita Clubhouse. The meeting is open to established small businesses that are looking to propel their business to the next level. This competition will help foster economic growth and the entrepreneurial spirit in the Sahuarita and Green Valley area. Long Realty Office (Rancho Sahuarita Marketplace) Goodwill Collection Event Saturday, April 7th 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. Following the Rancho Sahuarita Community Yard Sale on April 7th, residents are invited to bring any unsold items to the Long Realty Sahuarita Office to be donated to the Goodwill. Residents can look for the Goodwill trucks from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the north end of the Marketplace next to Long Realty Company. Contact the office directly for more information!

Rancho Sahuarita Prom Dress Exchange Saturday, April 7th 1:00 - 3:00 p.m. Club Rancho Sahuarita Calling all Walden Grove and Sahuarita High School girls attending prom: You are invited to attend the Rancho Sahuarita Prom Dress Exchange! Dresses are available on a first come first served basis, and will be arranged by sizes. There is a suggested $10 cash donation (all proceeds will be donated to the Sahuarita Educational Enrichment Foundation.) *If you plan to try on dresses, please wear shorts and a tank, as there will not be dressing rooms. We currently have over 50 beautiful prom dresses, but we would still like to receive more dress choices. Your donations can be dropped off anytime at Club Rancho Sahuarita up until the day of the event. American Cancer Society Relay for Life Saturday, April 14th 11:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m. Rancho Resort Amphitheater (15900 S Rancho Resort Blvd.) The American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life is back in Sahuarita. Join us at this event to bring communities together, to remember loved ones lost, honor survivors of all cancers, and raise money to help the American Cancer Society make a global impact on cancer. Community Performance & Arts Center (CPAC) Presents: STRAIT COUNTRY A Tribute to the Music of Featuring Kevin Sterner and the Strait Country Band April 19th & April 20th 7:00 p.m. This show has been thrilling audiences and selling out concert venues throughout the Southwest for the past six years. The Strait County Band, built around Kevin Sterner’s vocal style which is amazingly similar to George Strait’s, prominently features the sounds of pedal and fiddle. These two instruments are key to the signature sound that has been George’s trademark throughout his incredible 30-year career, they are what makes “” COUNTRY, and why he has always made them an integral part of his music! UPCOMING EVENT: TWolf Motorcycle Memorial Ride Friday, May 25th 6:00 p.m. Residents are invited to ride in or watch this special memorial motorcycle ride, which will be held in memory of Tyler Woelfersheim, who tragically lost his life in May of 2016 in Green Valley. The starting point will be 432 E. Continental Dr., then on to Continental Drive to La Canada and north through Rancho Sahuarita.
