For Thursday matches, the visiting team vehicles must park on the top level of the Brian Whalen Parking Garage about 1 block north of the Virginia Street Gym. If you are traveling by bus, your driver may load and unload outside the gym. The bus will then need to be staged at our Central Receiving area on campus. Central Receiving is located off of N. Virginia Street at 17th street (1/2 mile up N. Virginia from the Virginia Street Gym). See Campus Map on page 7 for locations. Practices: Please email Ren Cefra at [email protected] or call him at (775) 682-6918 or on his cell at (808) 222-6625 to arrange practice times at the Virginia Street Gym. Countdown to Match: A countdown to match, per Mountain West Rules, will be posted in your locker room on the day of your competition vs. Nevada. If you would like a countdown to match prior to your arrival, please contact Kelly McKenna at [email protected]. Locker Room Accommodations: Visiting teams will be provided with towels and use of the showers in Nevada’s locker room upon request. The locker room is generally available 30 minutes after the completion of the match. Please note that the visiting team locker room in the Virginia Street Gym does not have showers. You will need to make arrangements to shower prior to your arrival. Please contact Kelly McKenna at [email protected]. Courtside accommodations: Videotaping area is located on the second level on the side closest to the team benches. Stats are usually provided at timeouts and breaks.
