This will better prepare us to handle any needs and/or concerns that you may have. Team Parking: Visiting team vans may park in the Virginia Street Gym parking lot just east of the gym for Saturday matches only. For Thursday matches, the visiting team vehicles must park on the top level of the Brian Whalen Parking Garage about 1 block north of the Virginia Street Gym. If you are traveling by bus, your driver may load and unload outside the gym. The bus will then need to be staged at our Central Receiving area on campus. Central Receiving is located off of N. Virginia Street at 17th street (1/2 mile up N. Virginia from the Virginia Street Gym). See Campus Map on page 7 for locations.

Countdown to Match: A countdown to match, per Mountain West Rules, will be posted in your locker room on the day of your competition vs. Nevada. If you would like a countdown to match prior to your arrival, please contact Kelly McKenna at [email protected].

Locker Room Accommodations: Visiting teams will be provided with towels and use of the showers in Nevada’s locker room upon request. The locker room is generally available 30 minutes after the completion of the match. Please note that the visiting team locker room in the Virginia Street Gym does not have showers. You will need to make arrangements to shower prior to your arrival. Please contact Kelly McKenna at [email protected].

Courtside accommodations: Videotaping area is located on the second level on the side closest to the team benches. Stats are usually provided at timeouts and breaks.

Player Pass List The ticket office will accept visiting team’s player pass list up to 1hr prior to contest. The pass list will need to be turned in to the ticket office upon arrival. If you have any questions, contact Amy Engelbert at (775) 682-6930.

From Reno-Tahoe International Airport: Take 395 North to I-80 West (exit #68 toward Reno/Sacramento). Exit at Virginia Street (exit #13). Turn right (north) on Virginia Street and drive approximately 1.0 mile. Turn right into the Brian J. Whalen Parking Complex. The Virginia Street Gym is a short walk south of the parking garage. Circus Circus Hotel & Casino Circus Circus has free circus acts every hour of the day. The game room features carnival games and an arcade with the latest video games.

Lake Tahoe Lake Tahoe is considered to be one of the most beautiful places in the world. It is surrounded by the Sierra Nevada Mountain Range; home of some of the world's top ski resorts. The North Shore is known for its outdoor atmosphere and fantastic eateries, while the South Shore is known for the casino nightlife. Virginia City This is the home of writer Mark Twain. The old mining town has been preserved from its golden days and now is a historic landmark. There are many shops and museums lining the wooden sidewalks of this historic mining town.

Wild Island Wild Island has it all- mini-golf, Indy car races, an arcade, and the coolest water park on a hot day. Next door to a roller-skate rink, it is your one stop for fun.
