This month, WNIT salutes Peggy Weed for her sustained financial support of WNIT. A visit to the Center for Public Media Come illustrates the results of her generosity and that of her late husband, Robert Weed. For example, the WNIT Rod and Carol Ganey Studio contains a new kitchen made possible by Robert Weed Plywood. Robert’s son, David, made the process of designing and producing the new kitchen a reality. Both David and Peggy felt the former WNIT kitchen was a bit rustic, so they suggested contributing to a new kitchen. Peggy and Robert also contributed to the WNIT Capital Campaign. In the lobby of WNIT there is a recognition wall acknowledging the donors to the capital campaign. The Weeds made that wall possible. In addition, Peggy and David Weed contributed to the station’s Regional Mobile Unit, which will permit WNIT to broadcast live from the entire broadcast region. And Peggy remains a steadfast Directors’ Circle member. Thank you, Peggy Weed, for your generous support of WNIT!

Peggy Weed Directors’ Circle

The WNIT Directors’ Circle represents a very dedicated and select group of individuals who, by their commitment, contribute to the total annual support which is the foundation of WNIT’s operating budget.
