ACTIONS TAKEN National Capital Region (NCR) 1. OCD-NCR still monitoring the situation. 2. OCD-NCR conducted assessment and monitored precautionary measures undertaken by BDCC San Bartolome along the Tullahan River in Novaliches, Quezon City. 3. The Quezon City Department of Public Order and Safety (DPOS) alerted barangay officials and responders along Tullahan River in District-II to continuously monitor the water level of La Mesa Dam. 4. NCRCOM - DRTG Land Component (Quick Response Task Force), Makati City USAR Pasig City USAR, two amphibian vehicles in Navotas, two (2) 1 ¼ tonner trucks in Barangays San Bartolome and Sta. Lucia, Novaliches, Quezon are still on standby. 3 5. The Manila Water disseminated advisories to residents likely to be affected by the overflow of La Mesa Dam. 6. No report of evacuation in barangays along Tullahan River as of this time. Region I (Ilocos Region) 1. OCDRC I Operations Center is continuously monitoring the situation. 2. Disseminated Weather/General Flood Advisories and GALE Warnings to concerned RDCC-Member Agencies, local DCCs, local tri-media, and PNP thru facsimile and SMS. 3. DCCs concerned are on standby for possible response activities. 4. Naval Forces Northern Luzon and Philippine Coast Guard are on standby to respond to any emergency situation. Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR) 1. OCD-CAR Personnel are on alert status and continuously monitoring the effects of the weather disturbance in coordination with LGUs and CRDCC line agencies. All DCCs were alerted for possible effects of low pressure area and monsoon rains. 2. MDCC Tinoc was alerted for the possible landslide at Sitio Tullibeng, Brgy. Impugong, Tinoc, Ifugao. 3. Disseminated warning orders and advisories to CRDCC members, all Governors, Mayors and tri-media thru Short Messaging System (SMS), facsimile, e-mail and other means of communication. 4. PDCC Benguet coordinated with DPWH Benguet District I for clearing operations at Benguet-Vizcaya Road and Tablay-Kapangan-Kibungan-Bakun Road. 5. CDCC Baguio monitored all areas under threat and advised residents and barangay officials to take precautionary and preparedness measures. 6. The body of Ms. Edna Sapalat, victim of the landslide incident in Gadang, Kapangan, Benguet was retrieved on or about 11:00 AM this morning, 06 June 2009 thru the efforts of barangay volunteers, MDCC-Kapangan, responders of PDCC-Benguet and HEART of CAR.
