Ken, just a note to say how much WE! appreciate Jeff and Tory's appearances at our "Alive at Five" concert series. Their presence is a wonderful kick-off each Thursday night. It's terrific to have a media sponsor close enough to the event to participate. Each concert reaches a different demographic with last week's and this week's appealing to the 35-55 age group although I have been surprised at the wide variety of age groups that attend the concerts (free music is always a draw I've determined). Thanks again for the station's support. Jan

Dear Ken.

Boys and Girls Club of AuburnlLewiston gratefully acknowledges your generous donation dated May 31, 2005 in the amount of $300.00 representing full payment of your pledge to this year's Steak & Burger dinner.

The Steak & Burger dinner provides an opportunity for Club members to enjoy a healthy on-site meal, and to interact with caring and supportive adults. Creating opportunities to succeed is what the Boys & Girls Club does best. Last year, more than 400 area children, many of whom come from disadvantaged circumstances, participated in a variety of activities at the Club, including the Steak & Burger Dinner. Proceeds from this event are used to support our operating budget so that we may continue to offer quality programs to our members, which provides them with the ability to raise their aspirations and realize their full potential as informed, responsible and caring citizens.

On behalf of the board, the event committee, and all the Club members, thank you for helping to make the evening a great success.

It was a pleasure meeting you the other day. As the new kid on the block, I am looking forward to furthering the wonderful relationship your station and The Salvation Army has enjoyed.

As you know, The Giving Tree has had great success over the years and any expansion or enhancement of the program simply translates into more children receiving a gift for Christmas. Your support has enabled The Salvation Army to reach out to thousands of needy youngsters each year.

I'm sorry you won't be able to come to our Open House at Camp Sebago on the 1lth. Hopefully, Dave will be able to attend. However, any time you would like to visit this jewel I will be happy to set that up.
