2019 Eastside DIY Maps Explore The Boardwalk Start/ Pan American Neighborhood Park End: Long Center of Performing Arts Length of Ride: About 4.5 miles, 25 minutes Ease of ride: Generally flat, predominantly riding along off-road trails, the boardwalk, and protected bikeways, with some neighborhood streets. Get from one park to the next while barely spending time on the road. Start at Pan American Park, which hosts the Hillside Concert Series and Honk!TX Festival every year, was the first Latin American Center to open in Austin. Then head along the Pedernales protected bikeway to the Ann and Roy Butler Hike and Bike Trail. Ride the trail along Lady Bird Lake for a relaxing and fun way to go across town. On this route you’ll explore the Boardwalk suspended over the lake prior to getting to Auditorium shores. The route back takes you along the Lance Armstrong Bikeway which includes protected bike lanes through Downtown.
