The race route will be appropriately marked; however, riders and team managers should familiarise themselves with the route beforehand. The onus is on the rider to adhere to the race route. All race officials must be in possession of a licence issued by a UCI National Federation. Managers Meeting All team managers are to attend a pre-race meeting with the Panel of Commissaires, Race Director and PSNI which will take place on Friday 21st June at Haldane Fisher at 6.45pm Neutral Service Neutral service will be provided by 2/3 vehicles supplied by the Race Organisation. These vehicles will provide a service to all teams. Each team is requested to provide, as a minimum, 1 set of wheels each for use by the Neutral Service Crew. Such equipment must be in prime working order and must be acceptable to the Neutral Service Crew. It must be clearly marked by the supplying team or club; any equipment supplied from Neutral Service and returned damaged or broken will be the responsibility of the rider/team using it. All equipment issued by neutral service or by a team vehicle to a member of another team must be returned and/or replaced immediately following the stage. Failure to do so may result in penalties. All team vehicles will provide a neutral service in a fair and sporting manner to other team members, where applicable. If at any time a neutral service crew is not available then a Commissaire may request the next car in the cavalcade to provide service to the next rider requiring it, however following stage 1 support vehicles 1, 2 and 3 are exempt from this requirement. Team vehicles who do not comply with this rule may be relegated to the rear of the cavalcade. A similar rule applies if a rider is dropped and his vehicle is ahead of him, the first support vehicle behind will offer service. Race Numbers The Race Organisation will supply a frame number and two back numbers. It is the responsibility of the rider to ensure that all numbers are visible at all times, failure to do so may incur a financial penalty as will the folding or defamation of the numbers. Where numbers are not visible at KOH points and stage finishes, a rider may be relegated to last place in the group he was with. Equipment & Clothing Unless a Classification leader, riders must at all times, during each stage, wear their registered team clothing save for those riders on composite teams who must wear clothing approved by the Race Organisation / Commissaire President Classifications

Radios Presentations Each support vehicle must be equipped with a 2-way radio on the same frequency as the Race Organisation Presentations will take place as follows: / Commissaires. Support Vehicles Each club / team represented in the race will be entitled to supply a maximum of one support vehicle. For the Friday night stage a maximum of 10 team cars will be allowed in the cavalcade. This will be decided prior to the team managers meeting on the Friday evening. Teams with less than 4 riders may not have a team car in the race, this needs clarification from the Chief comm and PSNI. Each team vehicle will be issued with three numbers per stage, these must be displayed in the driver side windscreen, rear window of the vehicle and the rear passenger window, in order to assist PSNI motorcycle escort in identifying the vehicle if required to move forward, vehicles wishing to travel in the cavalcade will be limited to 1.66 meters in height. Team Managers and drivers must be in possession of a licence issued by a UCI National Federation. Each support vehicle in the race cavalcade must contain another competent person in addition to the driver. No team vehicle will be permitted to pass any group within the last 10km of any stage. All service must take place on the left-hand side of the road. Failure to do so may result in a penalty of £20 in addition to the penalties specified in Cycling Ireland Rules, for each offence. Feeding from following vehicles will be allowed after permission has been granted from the Commissaire but support vehicles can only move forward under PSNI motor cycle escort, after 30km and up to 20km from the finish of the event; this may be altered at the discretion of the Commissaire President. As it may not be possible to move support vehicles forward as and when a rider may require feeding it is recommended that teams make surplus bidons available to the neutral cars who are generally in a better position to provide this service.
