Método: analizamos 36 fotos publicadas en el periódico O Globo durante el año 2010. Resultados y discusión: se reveló el aumento de la visibilidad del rostro femenino, en comparación con lo que fue constatado por Romero y Pereira (2008); el voleibol y el atletismo fueron las modalidades con mayor número de inserciones en los medios de comunicación social de deportes; el ángulo de captura de las fotos sugiere un cambio de postura de los medios.

Os três são bolsistas do Programa Talento Olímpico do Paraná – TOP 2016 Três atletas paranaenses, em diferentes estágios da carreira, foram homenageados nesta terça-feira (16), no Rio de Janeiro, na 17º edição do Prêmio Brasil Olímpico, organizado pelo Comitê Olímpico do Brasil (COB) em reconhecimento aos destaques do esporte brasileiro em 2015, em cada modalidade esportiva. Atleta de Ponta Grossa, e que atualmente mora em Campinas (SP) – com vaga garantida nas Olimpíadas Rio 2016 – Cassio Rippel foi eleito o melhor do ano no tiro esportivo. O passaporte para as Olimpíadas foi conquistado com a medalha de ouro na prova de carabina deitado 50m nos Jogos Pan-Americanos de Toronto. Já a matogrossense Ana Satila, que treina e é federada no Paraná, foi eleita a melhor atleta do ano na canoagem slalom, prova em que tem se destacando mundialmente. Com um ouro (C1) e uma prata (K1) no Pan de Toronto, Ana Satila foi também, com apenas 16 anos, a mais jovem atleta da delegação brasileira nas Olimpíadas de Londres, em 2012, e busca agora se garantir na Rio 2016. O principal destaque paranaense no Prêmio Brasil Olímpico, porém, foi a ciclista Amanda Kunkel, de apenas 13 anos. Após conquistar três medalhas de ouro nos Jogos Escolares da Juventude, etapa para estudantes de 12 a 14 anos, realizados pelo COB em Fortaleza, em setembro, a estudante do Colégio Estadual Tomaz Edison de Andrade Vieira, de Maringá, foi eleita a melhor atleta do País nesta categoria, ao lado do judoca Leonardo Santana.

Now in its 10th year, the 2019 series will be the first that will conclude just weeks before a global championships. Athletes earn points in the first 12 meetings to qualify for two finals. As part of the overall US$8million in prize money available across the series, the finals offer a prize purse of US$3.2 million. $100,000 is at stake in each of the 32 Diamond disciplines, including $50,000 for each winner along with a stunning Diamond Trophy and a wildcard entry to the IAAF World Athletics Championships Doha 2019. In 2018, 360 million viewers from across 161 countries spanning all six continents worldwide watched the world’s top athletes compete in the IAAF Diamond League, an increase of about 78 million on the previous year. Further emphasising the IAAF Diamond League’s global credentials, athletes from 83 different countries took part in the 2018 season, with 34 of them producing winners across the series. The 2019 IAAF Diamond League – which takes place in Africa, Asia, Europe and North America – will set the scene for the world’s third-largest sporting event.

Visitors also got to see top-class German athletes. A total of seven DLV athletes mastered the standard set for the upcoming European Indoor Championships scheduled to take place in GlasgoW this coming March. As part of the IAAF World Indoor Tour, the INDOOR MEETING Karlsruhe once again shoWed itself at its best this year. Naoto Tobe, an athlete from Japan, Was the person Who sealed the deal and impressed everyone at the Meeting. Leaping over 2.35 metres in the high-jump not only earned the talented athlete the best performance and the national record, but he also set a new Meeting record that had not been broken since 1994. Wu Yung from China took second place (2.31 metres), Which meant that another Asian athlete cracked the 2.30 metre mark. The 60-metre Women’s sprint was so fast that it was over in mere seconds. In the forerun, Polish athlete Ewa Swoboda made a time of 7.08 seconds, a world record performance of the year.
