Cheryl has years of experience and knows how to share her passion with others. Session I: The Operation of Your Embroidery Machine When you purchase your machine we will schedule a private session with you to teach you how to operate your embroidery machine. Session II: The Basics This class will be a lecture/demo about the basic supplies used for successful embroidery. We will include the selection of needles, threads, stabilizers and specialty notions designed to help you get started. Session III: Successful Hooping and Design Placement Professional embroidery requires a knowledge of how to hoop and proper placement of your design. BEYOND BASIC SERGER – Bring your serger and some decorative threads to this class and learn what your machine can be used for while creating a technique notebook that you will refer back to as you use your serger. Explore utility as well as decorative techniques and learn lots about your machine. This is a must class!!! CLASS FEE $50. This work was supported during the first three years by the United States Air Force. -iii- ABSTRACT The Young's modulus, stress-strain curves, and failure properties of glass bead-filled EPDM vulcanizates were studied under superposed hydrostatic pressure. The glass bead-filled EPDM was employed as a representation of composite systems, and the hydrostatic pressure controls the filler - elastomer separation under deformation. This separation shows up as a volume change of the system, and its infuence is reflected in the mechanical behavior as a reinforcing effect of variable degree.
