2 S Y N O PS I S As “” returns for season three, our families will be brought together in the vibrant and violent ecotone of the US- border. International lines done away with following the world’s end, our characters must attempt to rebuild not only society, but family as well. Madison has reconnected with Travis but Alicia has been fractured by her murder of Andres. Mere miles from his mother, Nick’s first action as a leader saw Luciana ambushed by an American militia group – the couple escaped death but Nick no longer feels immortal. Recovering both emotionally and physically, Strand has his sights set on harnessing the new world’s currency, and Ofelia’s captivity will test her ability to survive and if she can muster the savagery of her father.

In season three, Madison moves beyond . She promises herself never to repeat the mistakes of the past. If that means she must embrace brutality, so be it. As Madison evolves over the course of this season, we will see her turn even darker. Her ends are pure, but her means are morally compromised. She will sacrifice compassion – and she will risk those she holds most dear. In pursuit of Nick, Madison leads Travis and Alicia through the aftermath of the battle that ended season two – a fight that could have taken Nick and Luciana’s lives. Madison has reconnected with Travis, but Alicia is emotionally fractured by her murder of Andres. Their search for Nick will take north into the . 5 Kim Dickens has proven herself to be a versatile actress, portraying a vast array of complex KIM DICKENS, and powerful characters throughout her career in television and film. Dickens was born in Madison Clark Huntsville, Alabama and attended in Nashville, Tennessee, where she majored in communication. Soon after graduation she moved to to continue her studies at the Theatre and Film Institute. She later graduated from the American Academy of Dramatic Art’s two-year performing arts conservatory in New York City.

Dickens currently stars in the smash hit “Fear the Walking Dead,” the companion series to “The Walking Dead.” This critically acclaimed series became the No. 1-rated cable series premiere on record with 10.1 million viewers in the US. The series also smashed records internationally, premiering across more than 125 territories for AMC Global, the largest ever day-and-date release for a US series. Dickens recently completed production on Craig William Macneill’s biographical thriller Lizzie. 8 A successful film and television actor with a varied body of work, Cliff Curtis’s career CLIFF CURTIS, encompasses a wide range of compelling performances spanning more than two decades. Travis Manawa Curtis is currently in production on the Warner Bros. sci-fi action-thrillerMeg . His recent releases include the Sony feature Risen, the epic Biblical story of the Resurrection, opposite Joseph Fiennes; and the Broad Green release, The Dark Horse, an inspirational true story which he also executive produced. In The Dark Horse, directed by James Napier Robertson, Curtis plays Maori chess prodigy Genesis Pontini, who coached underprivileged, at-risk youth while suffering from bipolar disorder. Nick’s first action as a leader led everyone into a trap and their deadly encounter with a militia group has scattered members of the Colonia throughout . Having finally embraced the living and found hope, he quickly finds a darker, more desperate world at the end of season two. Nick has grown up considerably. Except for the brief moment that he thought he was bringing something good to Luciana and her people, he’s been knocked back and no longer feels immortal. The spirituality he sought at the Colonia may or may not exist and he’s going to have to rebound as he heads into season three.

11 FRANK DILLANE, Frank Dillane trained at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA), graduating in 2013. Nick Clark As a child, he played Christopher Henderson in Welcome to Sarajevo, directed by Michael Winterbottom.

When he was sixteen, he played Tom Riddle in Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince and later Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows (Warner Bros).

During his first year at RADA, he filmed the role of James Papadopoulos in the film Papadopoulos & Sons.

Immediately upon graduating, he played Eugene Marchbanks in Candida at the Theatre Royal Bath. He then filmed the role of Coffin in , directed by . After this, he went on to film the role of Keyes inViena and The Fantomes, directed by Gerardo Naranjo which will be released in 2017.

For television, Dillane played Shugs in season one of “Sense 8,” directed by Lilly and Lana Wachowski and was then cast in “Fear of the Walking Dead” playing the part of Nick. During the between seasons, he has filmed the lead role of Alex inAstral , directed by Chris Mul.

Aside from acting, Dillane is part of the band Tinker Wright.

12 (Alycia Debnam-Carey) “I think I’m in trouble…”

Alicia matured in season two and she and her mother became closer than ever before. Nick is not a challenge for her mother’s love anymore and that has given Alicia a sense of purpose and confidence. In the apocalypse, swift action can mean life or death – yours or someone else’s. Alicia has also now taken a life, the one thing Madison never wanted or expected she would do, but in some respects it tragically bonds mother and daughter. Shaken after murdering Andres to defend Travis, Alicia has lost her future and needs someone or something to blame. If she finds that person or thing, then maybe she can rationalise what she’s done.

13 An Australian native who made her feature film debut in Rachel Ward’sMartha’s New Coat, ALYCIA DEBNAM-CAREY, Alycia Debnam-Carey recently starred alongside Rufus Sewell in the thriller The Devil’s Alicia Clark Hand and in the action thriller Into the Storm with Richard Armitage. She has also appeared in such short films asJigsaw Girl, At the Tattooist and The Branch. Debnam-Carey will star in the forthcoming Warner Bros. Germany feature film Unfriend.

On the small screen, Debnam-Carey is currently starring in the AMC series “Fear the Walking Dead,” the companion series to “The Walking Dead.” She portrayed in the second season of the CW’s “The 100” and reprised her role in season three. Among her TV credits are roles in the popular series “McLeod’s Daughters” and “Dance Academy” and she appeared in the telefilmDream Life.

Debnam-Carey was a runner up in the 2012 Heath Ledger Scholarship, touting Australia’s new young talent, and was recently named “One of the Actors to Watch” in the Australians in Film trade magazine.

The last time we saw Strand was in the rearview mirror as Travis, Madison and Alicia fled the destruction they wrought at the Rosarito Beach Hotel. Recuperating from a stab wound, he’s not ready to hit the road yet and stays behind where there is food, water and relative safety. Calculating his next moves amongst the community of hotel refugees, Strand remains true to his word to Madison when they parted: He is going to survive. He has always been swift to analyse any situation and adapt to his circumstances. But his loss of Thomas Abigail is different, leaving Strand reeling and the departure of Madison with Travis and Alicia didn’t help matters. Just as Alicia must find a reason to survive, Strand must find a reason to live. He needs a new compass to plot a destination and a new currency to finance the trip. In 2006, the president of Chile awarded Blades the Pablo Neruda Order of Cultural Merit and in 2010 the president of Ecuador honoured him with their Orden Nacional al Mérito Cultural.

Blades has always had an eye for political activism. In 1994, he formed a political party, Movimiento Papa Egoró (Mother Earth in the indigenous Embera language), and ran for President of the Republic of Panama, coming in third place with 18% of the vote. Blades served as Minister of Tourism in Panama between 2004 and 2009 and, in 2000, he was named United Nations World Ambassador Against Racism. He epitomises a true Renaissance man.

19 MERCEDES MASON, Mercedes Mason portrays Ofelia Salazar on AMC’s hit series, “Fear of the Walking Dead.” Ofelia Salazar Born into a multi-national family, Mason moved to the United States from at the age of 12. She was quickly discovered by Ford Modelling Agency, which launched her into an international modelling career while she was still attending high school. Following her years of modelling as a teen, Mason began acting at the age of 22, first appearing on the daytime soap opera, “.”

Mason has appeared on over 20 network television series. She starred as the lead of the Fox’s “Bones” spin-off “The Finder” opposite Oscar®-nominated and . 20 LUCIANA GALVEZ (Danay Garcia) “Cuando no tienes nada…”

When you have nothing, you have nothing to lose. Luciana is a woman accustomed to compartmentalising. She did so when she left home for Tijuana. She did so when her mother died trying to reach her, when her brother Pablo was taken by the Sombras, and when her prophet proved false. She is a strong woman – strong before the apocalypse, stronger during it, but Luciana’s weakening now. And it’s not just the gunshot that felled her at the end of season two – she has lost her people, her place, and now she’s left wounded with only Nick to provide. She knows his default setting is flight. And his one selfless act, the one time he returned, resulted in the death of many of her people and her own injury. Luciana starts questioning her future and it will fall on Nick to bolster her and convince her that she needs to fight, to survive because of what she’s lost. She has an obligation, a duty to survive where others have fallen and to fight for the very thing her family lost.

21 Danay Garcia is an actress who can currently be seen as a series regular in the AMC hit DANAY GARCIA, television show “Fear the Walking Dead.” Garcia has been working steadily in film and Luciana Galvez television since arriving in the United States from Cuba in 2003.

Television audiences first got to know Garcia as the star of the popular Fox series “Prison Break” which ran for four seasons beginning in 2006. Garcia played the lead role of Sofia Lugo during the final two seasons of the series and achieved instant fame, appearing in hundreds of magazines around the world. Garcia has also appeared in episodes of “Supernatural,” “CSI: Miami” and “CSI: New York.”

Garcia just completed filming the action-thriller filmLoca , costarring Lou Diamond Phillips, Steven Bauer, Emilio Rivera and Danny Trejo, which will be released in 2017. A patriotic border militiaman who railed against the region’s cartel violence and illegal immigration, Otto patrolled his cattle ranch and linked with other like- minded men and organisations throughout the Southwest. He built a network, became a leader and planned contingencies for the inevitable fall of the American empire — not just a simple survival strategy but a DIY guide for resurrecting society. Otto always expected the fall of democracy but he didn’t plan on the rise of the Dead. Either way, there’s an opportunity to rebuild. The people of Broke Jaw Ranch are ready and tracks have been laid. Does this new society in the making offer Madison’s family hope?

23 Best known for his role as Chief Wayne Unser on highly acclaimed FX’s “” DAYTON CALLIE, and also as Charlie Utter on HBO’s “Deadwood,” veteran actor Dayton Callie has amassed Jeremiah Otto Sr. a wealth of film, television and stage credits during his career spanning two decades. He has performed in over 20 Off-Broadway stage productions in New York City. His television credits include everything from “Kate and Allie” to “K-Ville,” “John from Cincinnati,” “The Miniature Killer,” episodes of “CSI” and dozens of other top-rated shows.

The youngest son of Jeremiah Otto, Troy has embraced the violence of the Apocalypse. He would kill to protect his father, his family, and his people – and often does. Despite growing up in the same environment as his brother, he developed a wilder personality without the tempering that his brother’s education has given him. He is intensely suspicious of outsiders and more militant than his older brother. Troy has a dark side and while he presents as something of a psychopath and a sadist, he has an intense charisma that draws people to him. Troy’s isolationist viewpoint is more in line with his father’s beliefs, and that may make him better-suited to leading in this new post- apocalyptic world. It may also make him more popular among his father’s followers.

25 Daniel Sharman made his feature debut in Stephen Fox’s The Last Days of Edgar Harding DANIEL SHARMAN, and went on to star opposite Henry Cavill, Kellan Lutz, and Mickey Rourke in Tarsem Singh’s Troy Otto Immortals.

Within the past few years, Sharman starred in “The Originals” and “Teen Wolf.” Prior to that, he appeared in “Inspector Lewis” as well as Alex Dewhurst’s TV movie Starting Over.

Sharman was born and raised in the UK and, at a young age, spent two years at the Royal Shakespeare Company which offered him a five-year contract to join. He went on to the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA).

26 JEREMIAH “JAKE” OTTO JR. (Sam Underwood)

The first born of a border militiaman who spent his life preparing for the fall of democracy, Jake is the scion of a prepper family with mixed feelings about his father’s militant philosophy. His father saw to it that Jake earned an education so he could serve as an advisor to his nationalist father. While in school, Jake gained a larger worldview and began to recognise the uglier side of his father’s ideology. Jake is ready to rebuild with his father but they do not share the same vision of a better nation. While his father is willing to achieve his goals by any means necessary, Jake is more reluctant to shed blood. Jake’s the good son, obligated to carry out his father’s charge. Is he up for the task? And will his men, his father’s men, follow him?

27 Sam Underwood, originally hailing from England, most recently starred opposite SAM UNDERWOOD, in the hit drama “The Following” in which he played twins Mark and Luke. Jeremiah “Jake” Otto Jr. Other recent television appearances include “Dexter,” “Homeland,” and “Power.”

Underwood is also the founder of Fundamental Theater Project, a non-profit arts organisation dedicated to supporting international artists in NY. His stage work includes Peter Shaffer’s Equus, opposite Alec Baldwin; Hamlet, opposite Alec Baldwin and Kate Mulgrew; and the world premiere of ’s In Masks Outrageous and Austere, opposite Shirley Knight. He is also Creative Director of Initiative | 26, a production company dedicated to dynamic storytelling, developing new material with emerging artists and reimagining classic texts, as they speak to the personal and political climate of our modern age.

28 LOLA GUERRERO (Lisandra Tena)

In the old world, Lola Guerrero worked for the water utility Poragua, responsible for water treatment in the Gonzalez Dam outside of Tijuana and water distribution throughout the city and its environs. Since the outbreak, she’s become something of a saint to the people of the city, administering to masses, struggling to provide medicine for the sick and dying. The Gonzalez Dam’s been taken over by less savoury forces and Lola now finds herself caught between her allegiance to the people and her need to defend the reservoir. She’s caught in a vice - until a ghost arrives to rescue the saint.

29 Lisandra Tena is a Mexican-American actress born and raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico. LISANDRA TENA, She began her acting training at Working Classroom in Albuquerque and graduated Lola Guerrero cum laude with a BFA in Acting from the prestigious Theatre School at DePaul University in Chicago. To list a few, her theatre credits include Mother Road (Goodman Theatre), Crime Scene and This Is Not a Cure for Cancer (Collaboraction Theater Company), Augusta and Noble (Adventure Stage) and Your Problem with Men (Los Angeles Theatre Center). She has performed her self-written one-woman show, Guera, in Chicago, New Mexico, and Arizona, and her Los Angeles debut is scheduled in August of 2017. She has appeared in numerous short films, commercials, voiceovers, and as Lina Ochoa on the NBC television show “Chicago PD.” In 2013, the Chicago Tribune named her One of the Top 10 New Faces in Chicago Theater. She was a recipient of the 2015 Residency Fellowship from the Women’s International Study Center and is an ensemble member of Teatro Luna.

32 Since entering the comics scene with his self-published cult-hit Battle Pope in 2000, the , Kentucky native has risen to fame as one of the most successful names in comics and Executive Producer/ entertainment. Co-Creator He is the creator of many popular comic books, including the Eisner Award-winning The Walking Dead, long-running , all-ages Super Dinosaur, and the atmospheric exorcism comic, Outcast, which was released in 2014. The television adaptation of “Outcast” premiered in 2016. Kirkman serves as creator, writer and executive producer of the series.

His success and passionate advocacy for creator-owned comics led him to become the first person invited to become a partner at since the company’s inception twenty-four years ago.

In 2010, Kirkman saw an opportunity to create a transmedia entertainment company that would nurture creators, and give them the resources to create content while retaining creative control of their properties. Partnering with longtime collaborator, and fellow executive producer of “The Walking Dead” franchise and “Outcast,” David Alpert, was born.

That same year, Kirkman continued to expand his presence in the entertainment industry, becoming a creator, executive producer and writer on “The Walking Dead” television show. The show has become the highest-rated basic cable drama of all time and is the No. 1 show on television among the coveted 18-49 demo, to date. Kirkman is also the executive producer and creator of the AMC’s companion series “Fear the Walking Dead.”

33 In 1984, after working in various capacities for legendary producer Roger Corman, Hurd GALE ANNE HURD, produced and co-wrote her first feature film,The Terminator. The film was a box office and Executive Producer critical success, and has since become a genre classic.

This success was quickly followed by Aliens, which received seven nominations and two Academy Awards®; and the Academy Award-winning films The Abyss, Terminator 2: Judgment Day and The Ghost and the Darkness. Hurd’s additional feature credits include the Academy Award-nominated Armageddon, The Incredible Hulk, Tremors, Dante’s Peak, Æon Flux, The Punisher, and Dick and the Waterdance, which won the Independent Spirit Award for Best First Feature and both the Audience and Screenplay Awards at the Sundance Film Festival.

Hurd is an executive producer of “The Walking Dead” which currently reigns as the most- watched scripted drama among adults 18-49. “The Walking Dead” will begin filming its eighth season this spring. She is also a consulting producer on AMC’s top-rated talk show, “,” which logged a series high of 7.5 million viewers and is the second highest- rated cable show on Sunday nights, behind only “The Walking Dead.”

Hurd’s company, , has an overall deal with Universal Cable Productions to develop new television and digital programs. Her newest drama series, “Falling Water” recently completed its first season. She is also an executive producer of the upcoming unscripted series, “Lore.”

Hurd has held numerous leadership positions at the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, where she has served on the Academy Board of Governors and chaired the Nicholl Screenwriting Fellowship, the Investment Committee, as well as the Executive Committee of the Producers Branch. Hurd currently serves on the Academy’s Investment and Festival Grants Committees and is an Officer of the Producers Guild of America.

In 2015, Hurd was awarded the prestigious David O. Selznick Award for Achievement in Motion Pictures by the Producers Guild of America, joining past honourees Clint Eastwood, Kathleen Kennedy, and Steven Spielberg. She is also the recipient of the 2015 Jaeger- LeCoultre “Glory to the Filmmaker” Award from the 21st Annual Los Angeles Film Festival. The National Women’s History Museum honored Hurd at their annual 2015 “Women Making History” event, along with Oscar® winner . She was inducted into the International Women’s Forum Hall of Fame in 2014, which includes such honourees as Rosa Parks, Ruth Bader Ginsberg and Audrey Hepburn. In 2013, she accepted the Cartier Award at the Deauville American Film Festival, along with and Nicolas Cage, and was the 201Three recipient of the DiGamma Kappa Award for Distinguished Service in Broadcasting from Grady College at the University of Georgia, home of the Peabody Awards. 34 David Alpert is CEO of Skybound Entertainment, the multiplatform entertainment DAVID ALPERT, company founded alongside longtime collaborator and creator of “The Walking Dead,” Executive Producer Robert Kirkman. As CEO, Alpert oversees operations and strategic business development for the company.

Alpert is also a key contributor to the company’s success and growth in the new/digital media space having overseen development on cross-platform properties including Samsung Milk VR’s Gone, the first ever narrative virtual reality series, and YouTube Red’s Scare PewDiePie.

Alpert is also a prolific television and film producer. Just a few of Alpert’s credits include “The Walking Dead” and its companion series “Fear the Walking Dead”; the Robert Kirkman–created “Outcast”; “Five Year”; BBC America’s “Dirk Gently”; AMC’s upcoming comic docu-series “Heroes and Villains: The History of Comic Books” and features including Air (starring and Djimon Hounsou), American Ultra (starring Jessie Eisenberg and Kristen Stewart), and the George Lopez filmSpare Parts.

35 Born in Pittsburgh, it was a hobby-turned-career that lured into the GREG NICOTERO, fascinating world of special effects. After seeing Jaws and later Dawn of the Dead, Executive Producer/ he had no doubt about what he hoped would become a job in the effects field. While Special Effects Makeup following the work of artists like Rick Baker, Rob Bottin and on films such as An American a Werewolf in London, The Thing and Creepshow, Nicotero was offered Supervisor a job on George A Romero’s Day of the Dead. He diverted from his then pre-med career to follow his path to Hollywood.

His company, the KNB EFX Group was founded a few short years after he moved to LA in 1985. Within two years, he was moving from location to location, designing and supervising make-up effects on films alongside the very filmmakers that inspired him, including Steven Spielberg, John Carpenter and Wes Craven.

Nicotero pushed KNB into broadening their abilities by creating hyper-realistic cadavers, replica heads and articulated animals. As the company continued to grow, so did Nicotero’s love for movies and desire to collaborate with the best artists in the field, including Frank Darabont, , Robert Rodriguez and . He provided second unit direction on several features, including Land of the Dead, The Faculty and The Mist, where he was able to refine his filmmaking skills even more.

Most recently, Nicotero’s work on Suicide Squad garnered an Academy Award® win for Outstanding Achievement in Make-up. He and his company continue to provide make up effects for a variety of film and television projects including “Twin Peaks,” Edgar Wright’s comedy Baby Driver, Transformers: The Last Knight and the James Cameron/ Robert Rodriguez anime come to life Alita Battle Angel. On the television front, he supervises AMC’S “Preacher,” “Fear the Walking Dead,” “” and of course, “The Walking Dead.” To date, Nicotero has directed 20 episodes of “The Walking Dead,” while executive producing and supervising its multiple Emmy® Award-winning special make-up effects on location in Atlanta. He has been instrumental in the success and longevity of that series and is about to begin production on season eight.

Nicotero shares these experiences with his wife of 17 years, Shari, an assistant director, and their two children, Deven and Alyssa.
