The 190,000 sq. ft. building opened with approxi- mately 250 employees. The struc- ture is highly visible and easily accessible from I-94 COTTAGE GROVE COMMONS Phase 1 includes 137 units in a large mixed use building and 4 small condo buildings and will be complete in early 2021. Phase 2 will begin construction in 2021 and will add approximately 270 units in a mix of building types includ- ing rentals and condos. GLEN GROVE APARTMENTS The 100-unit Glen Grove Apart- ment building recently received zoning and site plan approval. The project uses WHEDA tax credits to provide affordable housing op- portunities. Units will be set aside for families with a disabled family member. COMFORT SUITES HOTEL The Comfort Suites Hotel is under construction in the Commerce Park with completion expected in fall of 2021. The hotel will include 82 rooms and amenities including a pool and fitness room. RECENT PROJECTS DRUMLIN RESIDENCES The Drumlin Residences apart- ments include 60 units in an ap- proximately 105,000 square foot building, which also includes a 4,400 square foot community room. The project was completed in 2017. MADISON WINDOW CLEANING Madison Window Cleaning is a 90+ year old family-owned com- pany that relocated from Down- town Madison to a new 12,000 sq. ft. office and light industrial building in the Commerce Park. The building opened in 2020. STIHL, INC. Stihl’s new midwest distribution facility is a 65,000 sq. ft. building on 9 acres in the Cottage Grove Commerce Park. The facility opened with approximately 25 employees in December 2015. UW HEALTH CLINIC UW Medical Foundation replaced their existing Cottage Grove clinic with this new 14,000 sq. ft. build- ing on N. Main Street. The facility opened with approximately 25 employees in January 2016. According to Head Coach Daryl Shore, the pressure is on and his team needs to respond accordingly. “There’s 12 games left, the challenge to our group was we have to get points in all 12 games, and most of those games have to be wins,” Shore said. “The playoffs start on Satur- day for us.” Although Forward Madison looked as if it had hit a good run of form after beating League One’s top two teams in late June and early July, the ‘Mingos have stagnated since, giving up a last-minute goal to lose to Lansing and conceding late again in a 1-1 draw with Chat- tanooga on July 13. FMFC has split the season series with Orlando so far, emerging victori- ous from its first game in the Sunshine State (the club’s first-ever win) and falling by a goal in the rematch. This time around, the Flamingos will have the added benefit of extra rest; their previous game came last Tuesday in a 2-1 exhibition win over Leones Negros UdeG, while Orlando played this Wednesday and lost 4-1 to South Georgia Tormenta FC.
