The 190,000 sq. ft. building opened with approxi- mately 250 employees. The struc- ture is highly visible and easily accessible from I-94

COTTAGE GROVE COMMONS Phase 1 includes 137 units in a large mixed use building and 4 small condo buildings and will be complete in early 2021. Phase 2 will begin construction in 2021 and will add approximately 270 units in a mix of building types includ- ing rentals and condos.

GLEN GROVE APARTMENTS The 100-unit Glen Grove Apart- ment building recently received zoning and site plan approval. The project uses WHEDA tax credits to provide affordable housing op- portunities. Units will be set aside for families with a disabled family member.

COMFORT SUITES HOTEL The Comfort Suites Hotel is under construction in the Commerce Park with completion expected in fall of 2021. The hotel will include 82 rooms and amenities including a pool and fitness room.

RECENT PROJECTS DRUMLIN RESIDENCES The Drumlin Residences apart- ments include 60 units in an ap- proximately 105,000 square foot building, which also includes a 4,400 square foot community room. The project was completed in 2017.

MADISON WINDOW CLEANING Madison Window Cleaning is a 90+ year old family-owned com- pany that relocated from Down- town Madison to a new 12,000 sq. ft. office and light industrial building in the Commerce Park. The building opened in 2020.

STIHL, INC.

Stihl’s new midwest distribution facility is a 65,000 sq. ft. building on 9 acres in the Cottage Grove Commerce Park. The facility opened with approximately 25 employees in December 2015.

UW HEALTH CLINIC

UW Medical Foundation replaced their existing Cottage Grove clinic with this new 14,000 sq. ft. build- ing on N. Main Street. The facility opened with approximately 25 employees in January 2016.

MIRACLE LEAGUE BASEBALL FIELD The Miracle League of Dane Coun- ty completed their field at Bakken Park in 2021. The facility is de- signed for children with physical or cognitive challenges, providing the opportunity for all kids to play baseball. The Village donated the land while Miracle League raised over $400,000 for the project. BAKKEN PARK SPLASH PAD The Village opened a splash pad and new shelter in Bakken Park in 2021 to go along with an existing large playground. These facili- ties are adjacent to the Miracle League Field and the Madison Rugby Club.

COTTAGE GROVE LIBRARY In 2019 the Village formed a Library Planning Committee which is investigating options for build- ing a library in Cottage Grove. The Friends of the Cottage Grove Library own a building site on the west side of the Village near Gla- cial Drumlin and Granite Ridge Schools. BIKE PATHS

The Village continues to expand its network of bike paths with recent projects connecting the Glacial Drumlin trailhead north up Hwy N to the Commerce Park and west through Firemen’s Park and Bakken Park.
