Brochure / catalogue of the product The intending bidders have to download the tender document either from the college website (www.dewanhatcollege.in) or from the official website of Cooch Behar district in West Bengal (www.coochbehar.gov.in) and submit Annexure – A, duly filled in with all documents as mentioned in Annexure – A to the Principal of the college (see Point No. 9 above/Annexure – B for address) within due date. Bidders are also requested to go through Annexure – B positively before submitting their bid. Brochure / catalogue of the product Downloaded from www.coochbehar.gov.in ANNEXURE – B TERMS & CONDITIONS FOR SUPPLY OF GENERAL PURPOSE OFFICE CHAIRS IN DEWANHAT MAHAVIDYALAYA 1) The furniture must carry one year onsite warranty from the date of delivery. 2) Taxes will be deducted at source as per prevailing rules of Central & State Government. 3) Bill will be released after delivery of the furniture subject to satisfactory inspection by the college authority and redressal of complaints, if any. 4) The product will be received in the premises of the college. 5) The selected bidder will be responsible for the delivery of the product in good condition after the placement of the Purchase Order. 6) The Rate must be inclusive of charges like freight, taxes etc. 7) The product must strictly adhere to the specifications mentioned in the Tender Notice. If the product supplied is found to be of substandard quality/does not meet the specifications required by the college, the product will be returned and the college will not be responsible for any loss to the concerned supplier for such supply. 8) Bidders must have local office or branch at any district of North Bengal. 9) Copy of Trade License and PAN must be enclosed along with the tender. The vendor must have a valid VAT/GSTIN Number and the number of the same must be mentioned. 10) Copy of IT Return Certificate ( 2016-17) and current Sales Tax Return Certificate. 11) The bidder must have minimum credential for supply of furniture & fixtures worth Rs.1.5 lakhs to Govt. / Semi Govt. / Local Self-Govt / Autonomous Institutions. Necessary papers / documents must be enclosed. 12) 92% of the bill value will be paid after satisfactory delivery. The remaining 8% of the bill value shall be deducted and kept aside as Security Deposit, which will be paid after three months from the date of satisfactory inspection report, subject to redressal of complaints, if any. 13) The successful bidder shall have to supply the furniture at the college campus within 21 days from the date of issue of the supply order failing which a penalty of 1 % per 10 days will be charged. 14) The rate should be mentioned clearly. Any cutting in the rate / over-writing should be attested by the supplier signing the tender. 15) The college will not entertain requests for revision in prices once quoted for whatever reason after the tenders are opened. 16) The college reserves the right to accept or reject any or all the tenders in full or part without assigning any reason. The decision of the college in this regard shall be final and binding on all. It shall not be obligatory on the part of the college to accept the lowest tender and no explanation shall be given with regard to reason for rejection of tender of any vendor. 17) The quoted price should be valid up to 31.10.2017. 18) Date of submission of tenders: 02.08.2017 to 09.08.2017 (up to 04:00 P.M.). No tenders will be accepted after due date and time. 19) Tenders will be opened on 10.08.2017 at 3:00 P.M. at the Chamber of the undersigned. Bidders may remain present on the day of opening of tender. 20) Tender paper(s) with all relevant documents must be sent by Registered Post / in person to the following address: The Principal, Dewanhat Mahavidyalaya, P.O.
