  • 2016 Performance-Based Pay Distributions Announced
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE 3/16/2017 http://www.twitter.com/NFL345 2016 PERFORMANCE-BASED PAY DISTRIBUTIONS ANNOUNCED NFL Players will receive $127.84 million in “Performance-Based Pay” for their performance during the 2016 season, the NFL announced today. The Performance-Based Pay program is a collectively- bargained benefit that compensates players based upon their playing time and salary levels. In addition to the Performance-Based Pay pool, the NFL Players Association has elected to dedicate $32 million in benefits (i.e., $1 million per club) to fund a Veteran Performance-Based Compensation Pool (the “Veteran Pool”) for players with more than one Accrued Season. In total, $159.84 million will be disbursed to players under the combined pools. Atlanta Falcons cornerback BRIAN POOLE earned the highest amount in the Performance-Based Pay program. Oakland Raiders guard GABE JACKSON earned the most in the Veteran Pool. Under the combined pools, Atlanta safety RICARDO ALLEN earned the highest amount of all NFL players. See the tables below for the top 25 bonuses in each category. Players have been paid over $1.2 billion cumulatively since the inception of the Performance-Based Pay program, which was implemented as part of the NFL’s 2002 Collective Bargaining Agreement with the NFL Players Association, and continues as part of the parties’ current agreement. The Veteran Pool is a component of the Rookie Redistribution Fund, which is a player benefit that was created under the 2011 Collective Bargaining Agreement. The NFL Players Association elected to fund the Veteran Pool for the first time this past year.

The ultimate football turn of events has inspired the city’s chefs, cooks and bartenders to come up with clever, quirky—delicious—Birds-inspired food and drink. Among the ever-growing list of Eagles fan fare are vegan pastry inspired by Broad Street’s greased poles (Dottie’s Donuts), all-green Bloody Mary cocktails (Pub & Kitchen), broccolini cheesesteaks (Rooster Soup Co.) and underdog everything, including soft pretzels (Philly Pretzel Factory) and mac-and-cheese (Mac Mart). Here are the details: Bleeding Green Bloody Mary – Rittenhouse Square’s handsome, rowdy, delightful Pub & Kitchen has turned their tomato cocktail green with cucumber, green apple, spinach, parsley, fresh horseradish, hot sauce, black pepper and vodka. 1946 Lombard Street, (215) 545-0350, thepubandkitchen.com Broccolini Cheesesteak – The much-loved, do-good diner Rooster Soup Co. (from chef Michael Solomonov and partner Steve Cook) turns the city’s most famous sandwich Eagles green—and good for you. The veggie-based broccolini cheesesteak is made with charred, caramelized broccolini topped with romesco sauce and melted provolone on a seeded roll. 1526 Sansom Street, (215) 454-6939, roostersoupcompany.com Eagles Fan On A Greased Pole Doughnut – Vegan pastry shop Dottie’s Donuts (two locations) has invented a confection that celebrates the 2018 NFC Championship meme of the lampposts Philadelphia police “greased” Broad Street, in order to prevent fans from climbing them in celebration.

SEATTLE SEAHAWKS AT MIAMI DOLPHINS HARD ROCK STADIUM OCT. 4, 2020 | 1 PM POSTGAME NOTES PARKER MOVES INTO NINTH PLACE IN ALL- TIME RECEIVING YARDS • WR DeVante Parker posted his first 100-yard game of the season today, totaling 10 receptions for 110 yards (11.0 avg.). It’s the ninth 100-yard game of Parker’s career, which is tied for eighth in Dolphins history. • Parker finished today’s game with 259 career receptions for 3,698 yards (14.3 avg.). His 3,698 yards move him past RB Tony Nathan (3,592) for ninth place in team history in all-time receiving yards. Parker is 340 yards shy of WR Jarvis Landry (4,038) for eighth place. • Parker’s 10 receptions were a career high. The last Dolphins player to catch 10+ passes in a game was Landry (10) on Dec. 17, 2017 at Buffalo. • Parker recorded the 250th reception of his career in the first quarter of today’s game. • At the end of today’s 1 p.m. games, Parker led all NFL players with 1,280 receiving yards dating back to Week 7 of the 2019 season, which encompasses 16 games. If those 16 games were its own season, Parker’s 1,280 receiving yards would be the fourth-best mark in a single season in Dolphins history. HOWARD TAKES NFL LEAD IN INTERCEPTIONS SINCE DECEMBER 2017 • CB Xavien Howard picked off Seahawks QB Russell Wilson in the end zone with 5:04 remaining in the third quarter. It was Howard’s second interception of the season after he had one last week at Jacksonville.
