With his pair of singles, Manuel Margot recorded his eighth multi-hit performance of the season, the second-most on the team behind Wil Myers’s nine multi-hit efforts, which, entering the game, tied for the most in the Majors…Margot led-off the game with a single, and he is now 9-for-16 with a walk when leading off the game. Hunter Renfroe launched his fifth home run of the season in the fourth inning on RHP Tom Koehler’s 1-0 offering…His round-tripper added to the Padres lead, making it a 3-0 game…His two RBI tied a season-high for the Padres’ right fielder. In his fourth start of the season, starting pitcher Tom Koehler earned his first victory of 2017, striking out a season-high seven batters…entering the game, Koehler had posted a 3-0 record against the Padres in three starts (four appearances) with a 2.14 ERA (5 ER/21.0 IP)…His three runs allowed in today’s game were the most runs he has allowed in a game against the Padres in his career.
