    2009-07-23 08:02 CEST Tiësto släpper ny singel "I Will Be Here" tillsammans med Sneaky Sound System Tiësto, världens främsta DJ, i samarbete med electro-pop trion Sneaky Sound System. Tillsammans släpper de singeln ‘I Will Be Here' och Tiësto ger sig ut på en världsomfattande turné. För att fira singelsamarbetet så kommer Sneaky Sound System att vara med som support på Tiësto's stora spelning i Victoria Park, London. Tiësto är den första DJ att hålla en så pass stor konsert i London. Han har en rad andra milstenar i bakfickan, han fick nämligen äran att öppna de olympiska spelen i Athen 2004. Han var även nominerad till en Grammis för sitt senaste album "Elements of Life", han fick även avsluta Coachella festivalen från största scenen, efter Red Hot Chilli Peppers. Singeln är i linje med de senaste remixarna som Tiësto har gjort tillsammans med band som Bloc Party, Yeah Yeah Yeahs och Calvin Harris. Han säger själv att han bestämde sig för att samarbeta med just Sneaky Sound System efter att ha hörtMiss Connie's röst. Den är otroligt inspirerande och upplyftande menar han: "At the same time, it's a great dance track with some epic builds and breaks and is going off at the shows every night, which is the most important thing to me." Sneaky Sound System består av Miss Connie, Black Angus och MC Double D, en trio från Sydney, Australien.     On September 30th 2014, Sam Fischer popped a message on Twitter. “Just booked a one way ticket to LA,” he tweeted. “Phwoar.” LA, it turned out, was less aroused. Things got pretty bleak, pretty quickly, and it wasn’t long before Sam had trouble making ends meet. But a mere five years, a couple of false starts and millions of streams later Sam has found his place, his voice, and his audience, both through his own naturally charismatic songs and those he’s written for artists like Ciara, Keith Urban and more. “I try to write uncomplicated, honest truths about myself,” he says of his own work. “Honesty and vulnerability should be celebrated, and if the last five years have taught me anything it’s that you should never be afraid to be your honest self.” Sam spent the earliest part of his life in Australia, on a small farm in the picturesque town of Grose Vale, just outside Kurrajong, just outside Sydney. “I used to come home from school,” Sam reports, “get my kit off and run around the farm naked.” School itself was an hour’s drive away meaning Sam spent plenty of time with his parents’ collection of three compact discs: Whitney Houston’s Bodyguard soundtrack, Michael Jackson’s HIStory, and a random rock compilation album. “That’s it right there on three pieces of plastic,” Sam laughs. “My entire musical education.” He joined the school choir (alongside a pre-fame Delta Goodrem — a fact Sam only recently discovered during a songwriting session with Goodrem two decades later) but the family relocated to Sydney when Sam was seven.

Having played the instru- ment for, then, almost two decades, I thought that a novelist would not, could not, feature specialty instruments such as the C-melody sax if he did not play the horn himself. Once the saxophone had caught my attention, I noticed all sorts of uncommon references that seemed to confirm my hunch that Thomas Pynchon himself played the instrument: McClintic Sphere’s 4½ reed, the contra- bass sax of Against the Day, Gravity’s Rainbow’s Charlie Parker passage.

It’s called Signed Finds and works on a very basic principle. Leading local and international music artists* have autographed and donated pre-loved, personal items that will be hidden in Vinnies outlets throughout the state. The fans of these bands (numbering in the millions) will receive hints about the shirts’ whereabouts through a dedicated Facebook page and then hit the stores to find them. They might not find the shirt first time, but they’ll likely walk out with some other Vinnies classic. Says ECD Julian Watt, “It’s a highly creative business initiative, and exactly the sort of thinking we’re pushing in the agency. Everyone wins.
