21.10.2014KREMEN1 antibody (pAb) Rabbit Anti-Human/Mouse/Rat Kringle-containing protein marking the eye and the nose (KRM1, Dickkopf receptor) Instruction Manual Catalog Number PK-AB718-7261 Synonyms KREMEN1 Antibody: Kringle-containing protein marking the eye and the nose, Kringle containing transmembrane protein 1, KRM1, Dickkopf receptor Description Kremen (Kringle containing protein marking the eye and the nose) proteins are type I transmembrane proteins that contain extracellular kringle, WSC and CUB domains and an intracellular region without any conserved motifs. Kremens bind a subset of the secreted Dickkopf proteins (Dkk 1, 2, and 4) with high affinity to modulate the canonical Wnt signaling pathway that is transduced by the ternary receptor complex composed of Wnt, Frizzled, and the LDL receptor related protein 5/6 (LRP5/6) coreceptor. KREMEN1 is a receptor for the Dickkopf protein which blocks Wnt/beta catenin signaling. It is necessary to ensure normal spatial and temporal patterns of Wnt activity during developmental processes. Quantity 100 µg Source / Host Rabbit Immunogen Rabbit polyclonal KREMEN1 antibody was raised against an 18 amino acid peptide near the carboxy terminus of human KREMEN1. Purification Method Affinity chromatography purified via peptide column. Clone / IgG Subtype Polyclonal antibody Species Reactivity Human, Mouse, Rat Specificity Three isoforms of KREMEN1 exists as a result of alternative splicing event. Formulation Antibody is supplied in PBS containing 0.02% sodium azide. Reconstitution During shipment, small volumes of antibody will occasionally become entrapped in the seal of the product vial. For products with volumes of 200 μl or less, we recommend gently tapping the vial on a hard surface or briefly centrifuging the vial in a tabletop centrifuge to dislodge any liquid in the container’s cap. Storage & Stability Antibody can be stored at 4ºC for three months and at -20°C for up to one year. As with all antibodies care should be taken to avoid repeated freeze thaw cycles. Antibodies should not be exposed to prolonged high temperatures. Applications E, WB, IHC, IF |Note: Antibody might be suitable for other applications not tested so far. Optimal concentrations for each application have to be determined indivudually. KREMEN1 antibody can be used for detection of KREMEN1 by Western blot at 0.5 - 1 µg/mL. Images Available upon request.
