HIGH SCHOOLS Students spend 2 to 4 years in specialized programs, usually earning related certifications, licensures, and college credit. Many students start working while still in school to apply their skills right away. In addition to our County’s CTE programs, we also have specialty centers at each high school where students can focus their learning experiences.

REGIONAL ADULT EDUCATION The Regional Adult Education program provides evening education in a variety of disciplines at satellite offices throughout the area. They also do -related instruction in cooperation with Virginia’s Department of Labor and Industry (DOLI).

COMMUNITY COLLEGES Both John Tyler and Reynolds Community Colleges provide certificates that are focused on providing -ready skills. Additionally, the Community College Workforce Alliance, a partnership of John Tyler and Reynolds Community Colleges, provides customized training to address business’s needs.
