Each new Editor brings a new vision. In this case, that involves both format and content changes. While this first issue emphasizes format transformation, which will continue to evolve, content is where the most important changes will occur. I am excited about unveiling some new columns to help accomplish the sharpening described on the Editor’s page. The planned content is unique among independent Baptist publications and will make the real benefit of a Fellowship shine. To fulfill our vision, I have assembled a team of skilled, experienced editors and designers. No longer is it necessary to do the layout at the printer. The next issue will introduce this team of volunteers to you. My greatest plea is for your participation in the various requests for information. These will eventually be included in a “Coming Next” column solicited through the GIBF email list and are clearly noted as a Baptist Times Request in the subject line. The road map to producing the level of magazine from which I think you will benefit most is impossible without this participation. Please consider responding to those requests when received.
