There was a wreath hanging, proclamation and cancer remembrance walk at the Courthouse in Union. The Walk included luminaries and pink lights lining the streets of downtown Union and pink ribbon decals displayed in local business windows. The walk around Union was in honor of cancer survivors and in memory of those that lost their battle with cancer. Charles and Dorothy Larew, Monroe County, had their Davis & Elkins women’s volleyball team hosted a ‘Be Bold barn painted for Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Think Pink’ night at an October game.
